| The Will-O-The-Wicked |
| Once upon a time, Her Highness, Princess Frances was walking through a forest in the wilderness. She had wandered off from the group and was busy following a floating white light. She had first spotted this light when the princess in front of her tripped over a log, causing her shoe to fly off into the bushes. Frances didn't mind being separated from the rest of the princesses, as most of them were pansy-ass bitches anyway. Suddenly she realized that she had become distracted by her thoughts and lost the floating light. It must have been a will-of-the-wisp; a hovering light used to lure hikers away from their path and to another location. These were usually used either for predators to find prey, or if someone was in trouble and needed to summon help without causing too big of a scene. Frances hoped it was the latter. Looking around nervously she noticed a large hollowed out tree, a small pool of muddy water, a deep cave, and a nasty looking storm cloud coming in from the south. Any of which could be hiding an evil creature waiting to pounce and gobble her up. Or they could be concealing a small frightened being in need of assistance. Confused, and not wanting to take a risk, Princess Frances started to slowly back away in the direction she had come. However, before she had gotten very far a medium-sized apple snake slithered out from the pool of water. Frances breathed a sigh of relief. She could handle a little apple snake easily. She pulled off her Tiara and threw it like a boomerang at the snake's head. Due to her extensive self-defense training, she had perfect aim with a Tiara and she was able to not only hit the snake, but also entangle him in the many fine points at the top. Carefully pulling a replacement Tiara out of her bag, she turned to walk away, confident that she had defeated the creature that had drawn her out here. Though a flicker of a thought nagged at her mind. As she was just about to step out of the clearing she heard a deafening roar. Suddenly that flicker became a bright flash. "Apple Snakes don't have the ability to use Will-of-the-Wisps, only nature creatures can use those! Before she could turn around Frances was knocked to the ground by something large and leafy. Just in time to avoid getting smashed, she rolled off to the side. Apparently the large hollow tree hadn't been as hollow as she had first thought. It was now moving around and trying to crush her with its massive boughs. As a princess, she had had quite enough of insolent creatures trying to push her around, and with a swift kick to the face, she knocked the tree into the pool of water. By this time, the other princesses, noticing the approaching storm, had decided they better find Frances before she got soaking wet and chilled to the bone. They sent out two search parties: one to find Frances, and one to find shelter from the weather. By some strange chance of fate, both groups happened to meet at the spot where Frances was fighting the tree. They all screamed and hid in the cave while Princess Frances dove into the muddy pool and beat the crap out of the tree, who by now was wishing it could have been born a fruit-bearing tree. Having satisfied her anger, Frances joined her fellow princesses in the cave just in time to avoid getting hit by the first drops of rain. By the time the storm was over, Frances had gotten so tired of listening to the princesses bitch and moan about how cold it was, or how hard the ground was, that she murdered each and every one of them. To this day, Frances still inhabits that cave, leaving only on Mondays and Fridays to find a new victim to lure in and kill. -The End- -Kegan Shepard |
