Hey there, my name is Kegan Shepard.  I was born in Anchorage Alaska on Nov. 25th, 1986, along with my twin brother, Ian.  Since that time I have moved 10 times, and currently reside in Bothell, Washington.  Though I have lived in three states and two countries, all of my standard schooling was in Alaska.  I went to Kindergarten in Wasilla and Chugach, 1st and part of 2nd grade back in Wasilla, part of 2nd and all of 3rd grade in Anchorage, 4 - 8th grade in Cordova, and 9th - 12th grade in Sitka. After moving to Washington, I took a semester of classes through The University of Alaska Distance Education program. I now am studying and earning my Microsoft Certifications here in Washington at Strategy Computers.

I enjoy Computer Programming with C++, Debate, fixing computers, reading, and writing.  However, I also like to play Racquetball, swim, and lift weights.  My favorite thing to do is drive... Fast.  But, sadly, I have been forced to give up that activity, at least until my last three speeding tickets are cleared from my record.  I went from driving a 1985 Chevy Camaro to my current 2003 Toyota Corolla. But, hey, at least it's a sport model, right? Come on, at least give me that.

Up in Alaska, I was very involved in a local Digital Media Program, run by John Ferrick, which focused mainly on videotaping and live/studio editing various community events.  We had expanded to include putting on dances which had become pretty succesful as we were the only group in town with all the equipment to put on a good one.

I have a wonderful girlfriend, Jennifer, who definitely makes every day brighter. We've been together since May of 2005, which, as I'm writing this, puts us at about a year and 8 months, and still going strong.

My Dream for After High School
I have a very well laid out plan for my life after high school, most of which is very unlikely to actually happen:
Immediately get an internship with Microsoft for the first summer and each summer during college, living in their free housing.
I will go to College at MIT, and graduate with a degree in Computer Engineering.
After College, I will get a permanent Job with Microsoft, and work my way up the corporate ladder while working on cool programs such as Windows Media Player and future Operating Systems. 
I will retire at the age of 40, a millionaire, and start up my own professional video crew.
We will specialize in making DVD's of rock concerts for bands like Metallica.
