(our_report) It was a three game night tonight!!  The first game started off slow. The second cat ended up with a tie of 10-10.  The Rocks took the lead on the next cat, Huey Lewis.  The point lead was swapping back and forth and then the Rocks had the lead 23?-29.  Then a double point round came up with John Cusack films.  The Wonders knew their Cusack!!  Final score.... 39-33. The Rocks took a 6-3 lead in the first round with U2 songs.  Rocks ran away with this game and kicked our wiggling butts!!  Final score... 32-16 The third game was the Wonders from the start.  We took a 5-3 lead and kept on going.  We wiggled our butts off and it worked!!  WTG Wonders!!  Keep up the great work!!

(our_report) OY! The thought of this long, long game stills gives me a headache.  Those pesky Lizards gave the infamous Rats a real run for the money tonight.  The first 3 categories of "T" cities, "Bonanza" things, and "curling terms" in game one brought the Rats and Lizards to a tie game of 7-7. Naturally, the Rats managed to pull slightly ahead with the next cat of "cheeses".  I mean, come on...a rat is a rat is a rat!  We also managed to gain a little more ground with "heisman trophy" winners, bringing the score to 22-17.  The last categoryof "Burt Reynolds" movies left this Rat

(and others I believe) on the outside looking in with Talkcity since they decided we could not type in the movie "best little whorehouse in Texas".  However, when I got back, I was relieved to see that the rats did indeed claim victory in game 1.  Game 2 also landed the 2 teams in a tie with the first 3 categories of "Saturday Night" cast members, "female recording artists", and things of "Barney Miller". The score was then 13 up.  The Lizards pulled ahead in the following cat of "vampire" things with a score of 19-17.  They continued their winning ways with the next two cats, giving them the 2nd game win.  The Rats came out of game 3's gate strong with a good show of "canadian cities". The Lizards bumped us back with an equally good showing for "Brazilian cities".  The next cat of "Bruce Springsteen's" songs lended well to this "Jersey" girl, and my other east coast Rat-friends and pulled us back into the lead.  The last category of "window dressings" showed the world the "fancier" side of Rats by giving us a strong lead and win.  Keep it up Lizards, the competition was certainly welcomed.

(our_report) Game one was pretty close, after the Wonders took the lead with Kevin Kline, the Rocks came back to tie it up on International Rivers. We even moved ahead with Huey Lewis songs

(The heart of ROCK and rid is still beating after all...), but angelbel ruled the high school things cat and the Wonders gained the lead again. blank water and Melissa Etheridge gave us a figthing chance, but then along came that blasted double point round, John Cusack

(grrrr, ev...lol). Wonders won game 1 39-33. The Rockers came back strong in game 2

(we know our U2 songs and fast food restaurants!), winning it 32-16. Game 3 brought yet another double point round, this time it was 4 letter K words that gave team 8 an 8 point lead. Rockers tried to come back, but even the grammar cops couldn't save the game when prepositions gave the Wonders the winning points. Final score: 31-23 YAY to both teams for a good game. Thanks to my team for the mvr vote.

(our_report) Three close games against the Rats tonight.  We Liz^ards took the lead in the first cat and then went on to tie the next two cats of our first game.  The Rats then took over and went on to win, 25-30.  The second game we took the lead on the first cat.  The Rats came back to tie after 4 rounds, but we Liz^ards knew our "vampire" cat to take the lead back.  Final score of the game, 33-30.  The last game the Rats took off and never looked back, winning the game 15-31.  Great competition and a lot of fun!!  Congrats to Kodiakx on his first Liz^ard MVP....nice way to celebrate a birthday, Kodiak!

(our_report)  We outnumbered fourplay and it made the difference in both games.   Fourplay lead both games early but there were just too many raiders.   honorable mention went to murph and judy.   a special kudos went to tbearj for fighting to stay in the room despite a chronic lag/booting problem.
