(teams) Raiders vs. LOL's

(MVP) Reece_bean

(commentary)
The Raiders tried to take on The LOL's with only four players present in
the first game, but unfortunately, The LOL's maintained the lead
throughout the game and we went down in 6 rounds, 15 - 30.
By the second game Reece had joined us and things were looking a little
better. We started out with a 6 - 3 lead in the baseball stadiums cat. By
the 5th round, window dressings, The LOL's had taken over the lead, 17 -
26. However, The Raiders were determined to win and scored 8 points
(Thanks, Reece!) to their 1 in the next round, computer manufacturers. Our
team effort in cats of the wild, finished it off, winning 33 - 29.
In the third game the LOL's jumped out to a huge 1 - 16 lead in the second
round, a double point 3 letter men's names cat. We tried to gain some
momentum in the next few rounds and cut their lead to 21 - 27 in the game
show cat. I thought we just might pull it off when our co-captain, Rick,
showed up in the final round, but The LOL's ended it, sweeping the last
cat, to take the game and the match, 21 - 32.
We'll get 'em next time, Raiders!

(teams) Fourplay v. Sixpack

(Game2) Fourplay 20 Sixpack 30
(MVP) Kelly_the_Great
(roll_call) ChicagoCub, SinjanHawk, Scendera, LadyRidic, MSM123ANA,
Kelly_the_Great, FruitOfTheLoom, and Chasroy
(commentary)
From Mexican Food, to James Taylor songs, to Bahama Islands, Fourplay kept
getting beat by one or two each round until the first game was finally
over. The second game, however, started out neck and neck, with
things that are red and baby items. But as the game went on and saddle
parts and Cher songs came up, we slowly started to sink back into our hole
of defeat, ultimately losing with Neil Diamond Albums.
Anyhow, great game all, and welcome to the team, SinjanHawk!!

(teams) Rats vs. Rocks
(Game1) 31-8 RATS!
(Game2) 32-25 RATS!
(MVP) Our Newest Sewer Dwellers! Minipini, CLHB, Strawsmom and

jimon, lauren, sinsear, strawsmom, texmania, wattle, wendybird, ev,
minipini, glitzee, clhb
(commentary)
It was a great game! Ev started us off to a roaring start sweeping
the Drivin/Car songs with 4 answers! Cc scored her first sewer point
with Raphaelites in the Art movement cat--yay CC! The Rats proved
that they know their balls--- or lack there of scoring 9/10 in the Sports
w/o Balls cat. Strawsmom scored her first sewer point on Sesame
Street characters and the Rats cleaned it up on Pennsylvania Cities.
Game 2 was a bit tougher.. but not tougher than our sewer sludge! We
were "Jammin' in the Sewer" taking 8 out of 10 in the
Fruit Jam and Jellies. After that the Rocks scored point for point
with us but just couldn't pull ahead. It was a wild night with Tex
doing funky things with the dip........ A super game as always when
we play this great team!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY VROOOMIE !!! Our gift is our win and this one's for
you! And you can tell everybody this is your win, it may have been
quite simple but now that it's been, I hope you don't mind that I put in
the report how wonderful life is to know such a sport! LOL
With a nice turnout, a lotta confidence and a little magic, we pulled off
a win from those awesome Raiders lastnight. We started with a sweep
on the Philadelphia cat, and some good will hunting on Robin Williams,
taking an 11-2 lead. The Raiders got to nail us on things in a
Beauty Salon, but we sailed away with Large Islands, now ahead 19-9.
Heavy Metal bands and vitamins, which we swept (I guess you could say
that's a food cat?) gave us the win 30-15.
In the second game, the Raiders pecked their way to a 6-3 lead with their
knowledge of Stadiums, but we took the lead on Flower Bulbs and managed to
hang on to it, going all the way up 26-17 and looking good when the
Raiders made a big sweep on computer manufacturers to narrow our lead to
two points, 27-25! They then knew their large cat breeds (wow,
Paulie the parrot DOES go through some intense training) and forced a
third game.
In the third game, we LOLers took a 6-1 lead on Keifer Sutherland, then
managed to pull off a sweep of five on 3-letter mens names (just another
cat to add to the "Monitor's Worst Nightmare" list) to go up
16-1. And we were gonna need that lead, since the Raiders found an
opening and started their comeback soon thereafter. Actually we went
through Thundercats and green veggies and had a lead of 25-9 that
was when they beat us 6-1 on two cats in a row, Game Shows and car parts.
one of these car parts was "driver". Go figure.
Well, with the score 27-21, we decided to call it a game and swept MEN
words to win 32-21.
Thanks for an awesome match Raiders! You really kept us on our toes.
And congratulations to our gorgeous flowing River and the cherubic
lightdancer on the MVP both played like wildfire tonight. Also
welcome to the team DocDragon whether you believe it or not, you
were awesome as well!

(teams) Wonders vs Lizards
(Game1) Wonders 30 Lizards 10
(Game2) Wonders 30 Lizards 4
(MVP) Hoov
(roll_call)
Wonders in attendance: Shel, Libby, Athena,
Angelwolf, Cheyenne, Vodka, Gertsee, Keycat,
Hoov
(commentary)
Game #1 The Wonders took a 6-1 lead, with Libby & Athena giving alot of
answers, especially the Mexican Food Cat. All I did that cat was get
heartburn! We ended with a score of 30-10.
Game #2 Things in San Antonio gave us a lead of 3-0. In the next two
cats, we SWEPT them both, with the categories of iregular verbs and pro
wrestlers. The game ended with a score of 30-4. WTG
Keep up the great work teamies!!!!!!
I do have to say that it is always fun to play the Lizards and it would
have been nice to see what would have happened with more Lizards at the
game. Good game Lizards!
