Great showing for first game of season. The game started off tight,
with a team effort the first game, but we pulled ahead with Hawaii, and
never looked back. The second game was again neck and neck, until we
pulled ahead with "more bones of the human body" and finished it
off with virginia cities (we raiders like our geog cats).
good game all, and thanx for great monitoring by sixthrhyme, as we had a
split server at beginning of second game that threw every1 out of t.c.
also good showing by our 2 newbies, iona_traylor and liss19-. GG
everyone.

It was a great turnout for the first game of the new season. We welcomed
back an old friend. Good to have you back Rocky.
The Rocks got off to a good start with a 2 point lead at the end of the
first round. Bot through a little bit of everything at us.. British
Commedians, Men of Mayberry, Things that Keys open, Soccer, and Chicago
things. Rockers held the lead the entire game and took the first game
30-17.
The second game started a bit slow as bot served up Printing terms. The
Rocks had a 1 point lead as the score ended up 2-1. The rest of the cats
were a bit more interesting, Bands with numbers, Oscar Wilde, Clergy
Members, Beatles Albums, and Names that start with J. Rocks took the game
36-17.
Congrats to an Understaffed Fourplay on a good game.
GO TEAM ROCKER!!!!!!

The Rats came out of the Sewer tonight with the first category of Cartoon
Strips and brought the score to 5-2(us). Round 2 brought the score to
13-6(us) with Things in a Babies Room. We really showed our refined
musical taste...and AGE on Michael Jackson's songs, bringing the score to
19-8(us). The Sixers managed to somewhat catch up with the next cat
of "doctors". They did it again on the next Double cat
round of Friends Characters, bringing the score to 28-25(sixers). Rats,
not liking to be dominated for any long period of time, tied up the score
on the next round of T.V. wives...29 up! The last category was one I feel
pumped up about since I will be off to Cancun for a "mental
health" vacation soon, with cities in Mexico, which gave us the
victory of game one.
ame 2 had the Rats off to a Slobbering start with Culinary processes,
in which we scored 7 of 10. Ev decided to sweep round 2 of Computer
people. We scored equal points with Baby Things. Philadelphia
things (which pretty much limits me to the Philadelphia Airport), brought
us into a further lead. Our Australian Rat, Wattle, and some of the
rest of us gave us a better lead of 25-19 with Marsupials. The last
category had us in the Horror Slobber Zone with Steven !
King works, and took us over the top with a final score of 32-22.
The RatPack is coming out of the gate with Smokin' Guns this season, which
only Pure Rats' Slobber could put out....so be afraid tourney teams, be
very afraid! LOL

(commentary) The Six-Pack made a surprisingly good showing tonight
against the rats.. even taking the lead toward the end of the first game..
if we can do this well against the rats so early in the season.. then it
looks like six-pack may be a serious contender this time around. GO
PACKERS!!!!!

You thought Super Bowl was something? You ain't seen nothing,
brother. This game was the clash of the Titans, all the way to the
last round, and you ain't just whistlin' dixie! (Sylvester just said
that on Tv..lol)
When we weren't busy tossing chocolate at each other or shakin' our Bon
Bons all over the place, we actually scored a few points here and there on
cats like Blues Traveler, Smurfs, MC names, and Arena Football teams.
The scoring was intense! First we were tied 10-10 until the LOLers
nearly swept the Martial Arts to go up 18-12, then the Wonders swept Arena
Football to take the lead 20-19! In the end, the Wonders prevailed
with another sweep on 4 letter girls' names, and a nice showing on MC
names.
The second game, the LOLers took an early lead of 6-4, and continued the
lead thru HOT stuff (Hot Angel, hot gertsee, hot Athena, etc.) and deserts
(apple pie?) and Vincent D'Onofrio flicks. We managed to hang on to
our 20-15 lead thru TV families, partly in thanks to our RPC survey on the
page! Outdoor sports (you know, those weird ones like canoeing and
rugby) and The Five Dicks gave us our final score of 30-25 LOLers.
By the 3rd game, some ppl left either they mistakenly thought the
game was over or they were nauseated from seeing...well, what we saw
throughout the course of the first two! So the LOLers opened it up
with a 9-1 sweep on the Flintstones! The Wonders showed that they
are HOT under pressure, as most things in this world are, and tied it up
15-15 on a double point John Denver. Then they decked out their army
suits (something about a woman in uniform that is just SO sexy) and beat
us 6-4 on Military Shows to take back the lead, just like that. ABBA
songs looked hopeful, but it was mostly "More ABBA Gold" ones,
so the Dancing Queens only increased their lead to 26-23 on that cat. The
final round was a double point Chip Brands, and our former FritoLay
representative Lauree scored 3 of them but the Wonders knew their
chips too and chipped in stone their first win of the season.
Congratulations Wonders!!! You got yourself a season!

Wooohoo!! What a great way to start the season Wiggling Wonders!!!
Game One started out with the LOLS in the lead, but we managed to tie it
up. The LOLS scored 8 pts in the Martial Arts Cat, but we're not
scared of them!!!! We knew our arena football and took the lead and
eventually the game! Final Score: 33-22
The LOLS took game one from the start, try as we might we never caught up
or took the lead. Final Score: 30-25
Game three was a battle for the win in the first game of the season.
The LOLS took the a 9 - 1 lead in the Flintstones Cat but we tied it up
with John Denver songs. WE took the lead after that and although it
was a struggle through the next three cats we managed to squeek by in the
end and win. Final Score: 32-29
Congratualtions to Gertsee our MVP today! You do a great job
cheering us on even in through the most discouraging of Cats! You
deserve the MVP for giving us the push to win! Yay Gert!! Go
Wonders!!!
