(our_report) Bot went easy on us tonight giving us cats that didn't overwork our brains!  Happy Valetines Day to you too BOT!! We started off with things found in a nursery which we split straight down the line with Fourplay - ending in a tie of 5-5.  The second cat things you bring to the beach showed that we are true beach bums, but it payed off since we scored 8 pts bringing the score to 13 - 7.  Words with DD was next and we held back Fourplay scoring 6 points to their 2.  Songs by the artist formerly known as Prince was next - the Wonders partied like it's 1999 and scored 8 pts! We fought bot and the floodmonster in the last cat - 2 letter words, but won it in the end 31-12. In game two, the wonders started off with a good lead of 8-1 with Alex Guiness movies.  Famous Bears brought us up to 13-4.  Things got really hot with Things associated with a fire house. We were leading 21-6 and thought we had things all tied up.  But Fourplay fought back and swept the double point cat of words beginning and ending in A.  They narrowed our lead to 21-20 and the rest of the game was a fight for the win.  Keanu Reeves movies and things you take fishing were our final two cats and we won the game with a final score of 35-26.

(our_report) It may not have been such a great night for us in Ridic Land, but our Valentines Day seemed to be a blast!  Light got a ruby ring from her sweetheart, and I got a "Yes" from a special new friend. So just how was the game?  It was quite a nail biter, let's put it that way.  The up and coming LOLers versus the ever-so-tough Rat Pack made for some real earth shattering stuff.  In game 1, we started with a 4-1 lead on Beanie Babies, but the Rats came back with a Slobber Campaign

(related to the "smear campaign" maybe?) 8-7.  They hung on to that through languages, but we got our collective LOLer stuff together and retook the plane on Irish towns!  Pink Floyd was another great cat for us, as we hit the 20's, the score now 21-18, we headed into Best Actors, on which we maintained it 25-23.  The last cat, unfortunately for us was Barbarian Tribes.  And the Rats put us in the wigwam and stole game one 32-25. The next game looked a lot better as one of the LOLers favorite cats, Z medicines, came out to open it up!!  With hands-a-trembling, this being only the 4th time I've seen the cat, I typed my heart out, and we wound up pulling out an 8-2 lead.  Emma gave me some nice backup, scoring 3 or 4 of them herself!  Something weird happened after that  I don't know what the cat was, but just as the first answer came up, my screen froze..and by the time I made it back, I saw someone saying "bye everyone!", so I knew it wasn't just me.  So we had a break with Neil Diamond albums, during which we didn't answer and everyone got back on their correct teams and voiced and all that gobbledygook.  At this point, we were ahead 13-7.  What followed was a double point NYC cat, on which the Rats took advantage of the previous chaos, of which I'm sure the sewers have their share, and retook the lead 15-13 amazingly enough!  We got motivated enough to take back our lead 19-18 on V names, but Armor C! omponents came up next and just as with the Barbarian Tribes, we happened to not really be able to relate, ya know being human beings and all, and wound up falling short 25-21.  They finished us off with 4 letter girls names 36-27.  Which proves after all that there is something about Mary.

(our_report) These games were nail-biting... yeah... that's what they were... You had rat friendly categories

(barbarian tribes, armor, nyc tourism sites) and you had LoL'er Friendly Categories

(beanies, z drugs, v names) and you had bot splittin the latkes and the server all at the same time. Talk about a challenge. The rats came through with strokes, squirtle, and a little butterbby good luck charm. Great game lol'ers.

(our_report) It's always going to be a competitive game when the Rockers and the Raiders clash. Tonight was no exception. Game one started out with a 5-3 Rocker lead with the Chicago things category. The Raiders tied it up on the Jimmy Buffett category, 9-9. The Doonesbury category again saw the score tied at 14-14. Rockers pulled away a bit with the Ice Cream Category-18-20. We really opened up the lead with Bird Groups, 27-19. We erupted to the win in the Volcano category, 34-22. Game two started with Wrestling and the Rockers leglocked our way to a 6-2 lead. Things on wheels rooled out and the score was 8-6 Rockers. The  next round we increased our lead to 14-10. The Raiders really nailed the College Bowl Games category and brought the score to 18-16, Rockers. Raiders sure know their computer companies and jumped to a 25-19 lead. Fleetwood Mac started singing and the score ended up tied 28-28 going into the last round. In was in the stars as the Chinses astrolodgy category came us and the Rockers went to a 37-35 win. Congrats to the Raiders on a well played match. GO TEAM ROCKER!!!!!!

(our_report) Great turn-out for the Lizards tonight!!  We kept the first game close for 3 rounds, then Sixpack took off with "beach stuff" and widened the gap even farther with "occasions to send cards".  We scored 6 points in the last cat, "things you use to make clothes", but it wasn't enough.  The second game was tied at 10-10 after the first 2 cats.  Sixpack knew more about "telephone things" to take the lead, 18-12.  We scored more points in the "fast food" cat, but they scored 7 points in "board games" to lead 28-19.  We scored 7 points in the next round, "1 name entertainers", but their 3 points took the game at 31-26.  Congrats to Seahawk, our MVP!....and welcome back, Hawk!!

(our_report) As usual, two great games against the Rocks. The first game was tied in the second (9-9) and third (14-14) rounds, but it seems the Rocks spend alot of time eating ice cream and watching groups of birds cuz their knowledge in these cats gave them the lead 19 - 27. They finished it off in the final round, volcanoes, with a score of 22 - 34. The second game started out with The Rocks having a couple of points lead through 3 rounds. The Raiders came back strong with computer manufacturers, 25 - 19. The Rocks know their music and tied the game 27 - 27 in Fleetwood Mac songs. The tension was high in the final round, a double point Chinese astrology cat. It ended with The Rocks getting the win by one answer, for a final score of 35 - 37.
