The Raiders couldn't be stopped tonight no matter how hard we tried.  They came, they saw and they conquered!  They showed no mercy! (Although they did show their age when they swept the "influential people of the 60's cat!!)

Good game Raiders!

Common Wonders!  Let's get our wiggling and winning back!!

Playing the Lizards is always a load of fun  apparently tonight, though, was a BIG night for ER (the show).  Most keyboards were feeling the drip drip drip of tears as we were informed of two five year old children losing both parents!  Only the hardest of hearts could hang on through that!

All three games were as close as they come  we went through some wild cats tonight.  Everything from oxymorons to acrylic colors, to things in the sky, to breakfast foods.  If you look at total points of all three games, the Liz^ards actually beat us in that department 87 to 86!

The first game was close all the way to prime numbers, when we went up 23-20, and won the game on one word movies and things that lock with keys.

The second game, the Lizards took the lead from the beginning and didn't let go the whole time  the only time we managed to sweep a round was on Hardy Boys books (who would've thought?), we swept five on that, but the Lizards pounded their way through the following two rounds leaving us dangling in a 14-29 deficit.  We still managed to pull off seven answers in the final round, so the score turned out closer than it looked like it would, 32-21.

The third game started with a 5-5 tie on Candle Scents, a 7-7 tie on V names, a 12-11 lead for us on breakfast foods, and another tie of 16-16 on deserts!  Quantum Theory was where we found an opening and shot to a 21-17 lead.  Liz^ards weren't gonnna go down easy, so they pulled out their pockets full of posies and beat us 5-2 on flowers to make the score 23-22 LOLers.  Fortunately we knew our bags and the 29 was ours this time, so all we had to do was grab 2 Best Pictures and check out.  So we did just that.

Three in a row LOLers...Jordan fades back! SWISSHHHHH and that is the game!  No further questions, your honor!

(commentary)  On anite when we all cellibrated NITE's Birthday, a match between two heavy hitters (even with limited attendance). Both teams battled through nasty cats that bordered on the mundane. Neiderdude showed his passport was not wasted on the england category while MC CC-IN-NC rapped her way to major points on the rapper category. Then both teams watched dumbfoundly as EV doowapped her way to a mini sweep. A good time was had by all, and slobber and play ran wild throughout the room. Before I sign off i would like one opportunity to say: HAPPY B-DAY NITE

good game fourplay and ratpack!!! truely enjoyed it

The ROCK was very undermanned tonight. However the Fearless Five kept it a close game. The odds were definitely against us but we gave it a good try.

Both games were close all the way with the lead changing hands during both games. Game 1 ended 33-28 Six Pack. Game 2 ended 33-31 Six Pack.

Congrats to the Packers on a good match. We looking forward to playing you again.

GO TEAM ROCKER!!!

Really great games tonight against the LOLers, who are always a lot of fun!!  The first game began with the Lizards in the lead 10-8.  LOLers took the lead in the 2nd round 11-14.  The game stayed close and the LOLers took it home with the "things that use keys" cat, 26-34.

The second game the Lizards took the lead again in the first round and zoomed way ahead in the 2nd and 3rd rounds.  The LOLers came within 2 points after the "Hardy Boys" cat, 14-12.  We Lizards knew the words in "Category" to widen our lead again to 23-13.  We scored another six points in "animal sounds" to the LOLers 1 point, making the score 29-14.  We took it home with "things in the sky" to win 31-22.

The third game was nip and tuck all the way.  We tied the first, second and fourth rounds.  LOLers took the lead in the fifth round, "Quantam Mechanics", 17-21.  We Lizards know our flowers, and made it close again with the score standing at 22-23.  The LOLers knew their "kinds of bags" and "best picture Oscar winners" to win the game, 29-31.

Tonights games were a lot of fun and some great competition.  Congrats to Lucanik and Sandy, sharing MVP awards for the night!!
