The Six Pack's had it all together tonight!!
In the first game they took the point lead early and kept on going.  Final score 31-15.
The second game started off with a music category, songs by Queen.  We tied with that cat, 5-5, thanks to Libby(and her hubby) for making her listen it.  Then Six Pack killed us on a double point round....Woody Allen.  LOL...I guess someone has to know it!!!
We wiggled, jiggled and streaked, but it was Six Pack's night.  WTG!!!
Congrats Libby on MVP!!
(and of course Gert for MVC, LOL)

While Four was shorthanded tonight, they still made an awesome showing at the game, taking it all down to the wire in both games.

Game one found us starting with a tie 2-2 on Hot stuff (again?), then soon thereafter the LOLers took a lead of 18-5 with Mormon books and US States.  Fourplay was able to trim three points off of our lead before we got to 30, making the final score 30-20.

The second game was a lot closer, starting with a 5-3 lead for the Sevens again on mythological creatures.  Fourplay was smart to jump on the ensuing double point round and keep within striking distance  they stayed right on our tails, 11-13.  With red, white & blue flags, they came to within one point of us, then we managed to pull away by one with things in a wallet (or was that cards in a wallet?).  Then Fourplay TIED us up at 22 on USA cities that start with a vowel!  This tie continued through the "Oscar the Gay" cat, but we LOLers knew our cameras and our Shakespearean women and took the game 33-28.

Great game Fourplay, and thanks team for the MVP vote !! See everyone Thursday.

(commentary)  The Six-Pack was definitely hot tonight!!  We took an early lead in the first game and never looked back.  Game 2 started with a tie, and the we pulled ahead on the Woody Allen cat (thanks teamies.. I was totally lost on that one!  lol)  Someone really needs to adjust the bot programming though.. the amount of obscure music and movie cats was RIDICULOUS!!!  lol..

(comments) We had alot of fun being pecked at by the raiders.  Tex had his smokin' gun, ev- had flintstone vitamins, but something went wrong in game 2, and we lost - BUT - we had such a good time, it didn't really matter what the outcome was.  Good job Raiders!

The Lizards had a great attendance tonight and the Rockers were a bit undermanned. The games were well played and very close.

Game one saw a 4-4 tie after the first round. Thanks to SixthRyhme in the sewing category we jumped to a 12-6 lead after the secon round. We managed to increase our lead slightly with each round ( Christmas, Travolta, Golf, E words). Rockhead pulled in 2 of the final three points need to win the game in the "Wiggles" category ending with a final score of 32-22, Rockers.

Game two was quite a bit closer and very intense. After the Marvel comics category, The Rocks had a 1 point win at 5-4. We held the 1 point lead through Artic places, and Melissa Etheridge. We increased it to 2 in the Number Shows category at 17-15. The Lizards came back within 1 with the next category. The Christian Slater category got the Rockers a four point lead at 26-22. The final category of Chips and Snacks took the Rockers to a 31-26 win.

Great Game Lizards.

(commentary)

Well game 1 started off like a typical
raider-rat game, wtih the rats jumping out to
8-2 lead on cartoon/movie dogs.   Rats went
up 14-5 on geometric shapes, 20-8 on
seas/lakes and finished up 30-13.    More
raiders started to file in for game two and
it helped as we took our first lead 6-4 on
high school things, rats cut the lead to 1
point at 9-8 on motorcycles.   the teams
split on Patsy Cline songs.    Rats took a
19-16 lead on spiderman characters and held a
3 point lead on 3 letter mens names the score
being 24-21 rats.   Raiders came back on
types of falcons to even it up at 27 all.
Rats look like they had the match as the
answers came in for things with numbers on
them.   We needed to get the 10th answer and
koziman did just that to send it into
overtime at 32 all.   Raiders took 5 answers
to the rats 3 in comic strips to win game 2
37-35.    The Raiders had 13 people by the
time game 3 started and we jumped out to a
7-3 lead on vampire movies.   We increase it
to 14-4 on words that go with "hot".   The
next cat was a double point round, things
associated with a circus and the score was
22-12.    We ended the game on Liz Talor
movies and traffic signs to win 34-20.    It
was a great game with a lot of laughs.
Honorable mention went to Murph and Nobimbo.
