The galeon was riding high in the water with 7 mateys showing up. Game 1 was close the whole way after we went up 12-6 on articles of clothing. The two teams were never seperated by more than 3 answers the rest of the way but we pulled ahead by 5 on neil diamond albums. Sixpackers came out strong in game 2, going up 8-1 on peppers. We cut it to a 2 point deficit after australian things and hendrix songs. It was 14-18 sixpack when they scored 5 to our none on the law and order cat, taking a commanding 14-23 lead. they maintained that lead to win 33-25. Sixpack started game 3 strong again going up 7-2 on best actress winners. They extended that lead to 23-11 after red colors, titanic and vonnegut cats went by. We tried to catch em after louisiana and aquarium things to cut it to 24-28. Sixpackers knew their animated tv shows closing out the match 34-28. congratulations sixpackers it was a fun game! with all the packs and pecks flying around. honorable mention went to virginpet. After that we rocked our way through female figure skaters, asimov, cud chewing animals and agatha christie. We topped off the game with ice cream toppings (time for a healthy breakfast) and a winning score of 33-31. Game 2 opened with U2 songs and the rockers took a lead and never turned back. Famous drummers and the not so famous Dream Theater were among the second game's categories. Bot likes to hear hope sing the Mr. Ed theme because he gave us another horse cat today - she resisted the urge to sing, but some of the wonders filled in. Hope didn't resist the urge to ROCK the Michener cat, she brought home the win at 36-21. Yay literary Rockers! Congrats to hope on the mvr and to Y for honorable mention. actually laughed & had fun between the 2 teams. FOURplay took
command right from the start until the LOL's crept up & almost took
the game, while fitr was convincing dags to smoke her spotted bananas.
FOURplay won both games 33-30 & 32-21 Good going guys to take that 3rd

| 6 | (teams) Raiders vs Six-Pack (Game1) Raiders 34-29 (Game2) Six-Pack 33-25 (Game3) Six-Pack 34-28 (MVP) Csquaredaz and Cragio (roll_call) Csquaredaz, Cragio, Yapp, Qwest, Bittersweet, Muk-Mafi, Dshoppy (commentary) Three very competitive games between 2 determined teams had the Packers hoding on for a 3 game win. The first game had the Raiders jumping out to a 12-6 lead in the clothes cat. Cragio helped us get back into the game at 14-12 with his knowledge of words. After the raiders upped their lead to 17-14, things related to an ER cat appeared. Csq got 5 answers to close the gap to 20-19. The game stayed close until the last cat, Neil Diamond albums, which put the Raiders over the top at 34-29. The second game started with the Pepper cat which we rolled to an 8-1 lead. Raiders controlled the next 2 cats to pull within 12-10. The next 3 cats were kind to the Packers as we opened a 26-14 lead and coasted(sort of) to a 33-25 win. The third game started with actessses that won Oscars which yours truely finally contributed with 3 answers for a 7-2 lead. The next 3 cats had us opening up our lead to 23-11 with everyone contributing. T! hen the Raiders started really pecking(I am really starting to hate that word) away and cutting the lead to 28-24. The St. Patricks luck was with them when they took the lead of 5-3 and went on to go up 5-12 on cities visited by Phileas Fogg. They continued with a Strait shot to a 16-5 lead, and shot into the sky on Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, 25-13! I know I skipped a round there somewhere. Anyway, the LOLers knew their allergies and outscored Four 5-4 to bring it to 29-18, then we had a grip on the Allman Bros cat to close in at 29-24! The lead was still too big though, and Four took the final step in Chinese Astrology to win 33-30. The double point opener for the second game, words that start with MAD, had us taking a 10-6 lead and managing to hang into it through Arena Football Teams thanks to Lauree however, Fourplay pulled out their M-16 service rifles and blew us away on the military terms cat. From there, they held the lead through Mens names that start with M. After sitting through a Champ Round, they made it quick and easy and swept 9 of the Beatles One Word Songs to win 32-21. The next cat was Female Ice Skaters which ended in a tie of 18 - 18. Asimov Novels put the Rocks ahead 24- 21. The next cat was an Equality Round and almost every player lost an answer to cow which was everyone's first response! Only two points in total were scored in that cat - 1 for each team. Agatha Christie novels kept the rocks ahead by 4 and 1 point away from the win. We made a valiant effort in the Ice Cream Sundae cat by scoring 6 points, but we melted in the end and lost 33 - 31. U2 Songs started us off in game two and the Rocks took the lead 6 - 4. The Rocks increased their lead to 11 - 6 on Famous Drummers (Hey there not the Rockers cause they like Disco). Works by Michael Angelo, Things Found in a Home Heating/Air Conditioning System and Horse Things gave the Rocks a huge lead of 28-13. We held them back with Songs by Dream Theater where Hoov scored all 6 points and the Rocks scored none. It wasn't enough in the end and even the point Cam scored for our team in James Michener didn't help us win. The Rocks won 36 - 21. Great Game Rockers!! --- (reporter) Sadie |
