(commentary) This was an important game i was looking foward to.
When i saw 12 members of fourplay to our 5 i knew we were doomed.
Two more raiders came in and out but it made no difference, fourplay
dominated game 1 the whole way winning 32-14. They were in
control of game 2 from the get-go. We made it a respectable
finish considering our numbers, but we lost 35-30.
congratulations to fourplay who showed us what a full team can do.

the lead for the first round. The LOLers tied us up after the second
round, 10-10. The took the lead in the third round, and never let
go, to win 22-33. Great competition and a lot of fun!!

Well folks its time for another Friday commentary
from this slightly ragged (TGIF) reporter. Tonight we played a
slightly undermanned sixpack, we rocked and rolled and they certainly kept
up in spirit and fun. Game One had teams rolling thru categories
like parrots (krusty has gone to the birds), cheeses, childstars, breads,
and breed of small dogs. Somewhere in the midst of these games we
were promised a forbidden dance by the rocketmen. I got out the
tunes, shined up the mirrored ball, and set the mood for after the game.
After a quick run to the grocery to buy raw meat for wolf, everything was
set. Rocks won the first 30-13. Game two saw action in ends in
ism (drat need a prism for the strobe light) chevy chase films and a rock
all time favorite double point category american lakes. We were
still talking the forbidden dance by the light of the silvery moon when
sea told us she wanted the full monty. Wolf reported that wolves
dont dance but offered to wiggle a !
little as dancing fever Kru_sty
pranced around the room. WOOHOO rocketwomen sat in wonder (baggys mouth
was open a little hehe) and rocks take the second game 31-6. It was
a fun thank god its friday game and we really missed the rest of the
rockers.
Rockfully Submitted,

Game 1: Each category was lopsided towards one team or another.
In round one we had a lead of 8-2, but found ourselves actually
behind by a point (26-25) after the wonders proved we rats are losing our
religion. Athena and I went head-to-head on Software - tieing the
game to 30 all - weird, I got 5, athena got 4, nobody got one... explain
that! Then... three letter w words came and the Rats were able to
come out ahead 38-32.
This game was close...
Game 2 - Rats took the lead early and refused to let go.

(commentary) The Packers who showed up gave a tremendous effort, but
were no match for a determined group of rockers. Neither game was close ,
but we were tied 3-3 after 1 round in game 2. I was gonna ask the monitor
if we could stop there, but don't think she would have went for that. Oh
well...get em next time Pack....GOOD GAME ROCKERS

On the 4 year anniversary of my getting my first job (and starting a crush
that would go on to last THREE years even though I only knew her a month),
we came to battle the Lizards, and we were ready, willing and able and we
took 'em down! Our scores were rather consistent as well!
We started our game with Knots, and since knots are TIED, it's no surprise
our game was too when we finally tangled our way through. At 4-4, we
went into classical violinists (oh where is greeneyesFL when ya need her?
LOL) where the LOLers picked up two to the Lizards one to take the lead.
The Lizards got lost in Mansion rooms, but we LOLers just stayed in the
kitchen with the cheese and crackers to be safe! We also took the
lead 12-9 I might add. The Rappers cat was Word to your mother baby,
LOLers broke it down for an 18-11 lead! That pesky Asian/European
airlines cat came up next, but the LOLers did well again and took 7 of
them to bring us to 25-13! Lizards started thinking about that
fourth place and acted like Greek heroes in front of us, zooming in 19-28!
But our persistence paid off in the end, as we escaped on the giant slalom
33-23 with Things associated with Skiing!
I think we all had a bit of a bewildered look on our faces when we saw how
much the Lizards knew about Moods and Facial Expressions. I thought
all they did was sit around saying "Bud Weis Er" all day!
Well, with a 4-6 deficit, we armed our wet noodles and whipped the score
back to a tie at 10-10 on Pasta (two rounds of no answers
forgotten..woohoo!) Julian and all the Roman Emperors were with us
in the next round to break the tie and I DO mean break it we went up
16-11. Our next cat, things associated with Hanukkah, was another
great round for us, allowing us to really kick the tires and light the
fires (and the candles big daddy) and keep our lead 22-15, partly due to
Songe's claiming she had mistaken it for the Laundromat cat!!! The
LOLers followed our hearts and played fervently on the Things that are Red
cat even though no one got "hearts", we had our ten point
lead, and we were happy. We finished them off 33-22, on Animated
Dogs.
Great job LOLers..and congrats Vroooomie, looks like you were really
paying attention at the Jeopardy game! Thanks for a smashing fun
game Lizards! Love you Mom :-)

Well, the wonders had a pretty good turnout tonight, but were still
outnumbered by the Rats.
Is it just me or do they seem to multiply right before our very eyes??
Poor Angel got booted during almost every question. JFGordon
couldn't even sign on. The Rats changed their team name after every round.
You had to pay attention to keep up. All in all, even
through all the confusion, this was our best game against the Rats in a
long time, maybe ever.
Game One started off with Greek Letters and the Rats Slobbered their way
to a big lead of 8 - 2. Cheyenne scored 1 point for the Ratties, but
decided she'd rather streak than slobber so she rejoined her wiggling
wonder teamies. We narrowed their lead down to 5 pts with College
FootballBowls and in the 3rd round we managed to tie the score at 14.
The Rats regained their lead with Things That Follow the Word Hot, it
would seem to be such an easy cat, but the wonders scored o to the HotRats
4. Terms Used in Curling kept the Rats up by 4. The Wonders
showed their knowledge of World Religions and narrowed the Rats lead to 1
point. It was anyone's game with a score of 26 -25 when the next cat
Software Companies came up but the round resulted in a tie 30 - 30.
The final cat, 3 letter words beginning with W had half of the players
afraid to type for fear of getting booted and the other half of the
players who did get booted! The Rats scored 7 of the 10 points and
WON the game 37 - 33.
The Ratson Five took the lead in the Jackson Five Albums 6 - 0 with a
sweep over the Wonders. Hey we aren't embarrassed not to know the
names of any Jackson Five Albums! They more than doubled their
lead in the Double Point Heteronyms Category. We tried to make
a comeback by scoring 7 points in the Roman Gods Cat but the Rats held us
back through Pink Floyd Songs, Knights of the Round Table and Computer
Languages. Final Score: 33 - 20. they had a huge lead
