The Wonders made the Raiders work for their win, taking it to three games tonight, but the Raiders were determined to end their losing streak.

The first game was an easy win for the Raiders. We held a good lead through all 6 rounds, finishing with a 33 - 15 win.

The Wonders wiggled their way to a 27 - 31 win in a close second game.  The first four rounds went from being tied to swapping the lead and back to a tie, when the Wonders pulled ahead, 19 - 22 in the things related to sking cat.  They held the lead in the final two rounds for the win.

The third game was tied 14 - 14 in the third round but the Raiders (thanks to our bears!) took a big 22 - 14 lead sweeping the ancient greeks cat.  We sailed through haunted house things and hockey teams to win 32 - 23.

Woo Hoo!! Go Raiders!!

The Rockers hurried home from work today and the Lizards must have gotten stuck in traffic. The first game got off to a slow start. After a first round tie at 3 each, the Rocks slowly built the lead with each round. We took the first game 31-14.

Game two was even a bit more lopsided as a couple more Rockers showed up. We held the lead from the first round and took the game 32-8.

Good playing Lizards!!! Good Game All!!!

As the end of the tourney looms closer, the Games just seem to be getting better, and more people are watching!!  We had 2 great games againist FourPLAY today.  They rocked in several categories!!  They smoked the RATS in the "Things with Melted Cheese" Category.  Needless to say it sent the Rats scurrying to the corner in embarrassment!!!

Again both teams had problems with lag and booting.  Especially in Game #2.  Maybe both teams should offer a sacrafice to the BOT GOD's....I for one will sacrafice my 130 Rat Children.  (Although I had VI and NITE kicking and beating my children today!!  They actually behaved.  I'm going to have to learn their techniques, hehhehehe)

Both teams had good attendance, and both played their hearts out.  FourPLAY you rock!! Until next time!

(commentary)  First of all....Welcome to the team tohard2-handle. Now the bad news...we lost 2 heartbreakers to the Lol'ers tonight. The first game started out with us jumping out to a 7-1 lead on Nichole Kidman movies. The lead opened up to 23-13 until the cat medicines that start with the letter Z came up. We were smoked 9-1 on that cat which make the score 24-22. Dracula movies cat tied the score at 26. The heavy metal bands of the 80's cat done us in with us on the wrong end of a 32-29 score.                                      The econd game had the lol'ers jumpimg out big using their knowledge of ism words and football stadiums for a 18-6 lead. But we didn't quit! The Pack outpointed them 7-1 on the Greek deities cat, and swept the popular Elmore Leonard book cat to only trail 19-17. Robin Williams films cat pushed us into a 22-22 tie. Then bot kept he book cats coming with the hardy boys which the lol'ers swept to make the score 27-22. At this point I gave bot a twenty!
spot and asked for a double point cat. He complied and gave us Drew Barrymore movies. We fought and clawed and lost 31-30. Is there a record for losing games with 29 points or more?? If there is, we own it. Good game lolers. GREAT EFFORT PACK

Sweet!  Another victory for the LOLers as we continue to pursue the playoffs just maybe!

At first, things looked pretty bad when the Six Pack took a whopping 7-1 lead on us in Nicole Kidman movies.  Kari led us in a get-together on things in a Woman's Purse and scored 3 back to back and the score was now 12-6.  Both teams scored evenly on things associated with Pirates, then Sixers took a huge lead of 23-13 on Jack Kerouac!  The miracle came for us LOLers when one of my fave new favorite cat, Z medicines came along.  You really have to admit the Sixers got screwed in a way, cuz this exact same thing happened to them last time we played them, same cat and everything.  Well, the LOLers fed on our momentum and tied the game at 26 on Vampire films, going on to win it on 80's Heavy Metal Bands, 32-29.

The second game, we took an early lead and never really LOOKED back, but we could HEAR them gaining on us and boy they almost had us too!  The first round, words that end in -ISM, gave us our 6-2 lead.  The following round, a Double Pointer Stadiums cat, we went straight to the sky with an 18-6 lead.  Sixers made a fantastic run on Greek Dieties to close in 19-13, and SpikeJonze came in on an Elmore Leonard bulldozer to almost tie the game, 19-17.  Six Pack continued the hook and tied the game at 22 on Robin Williams movies!  Hardy Boys came and I thought we were doomed, but our ladies pulled us back into the lead by sweeping it!!  So at 27-22, we headed into a double point Drew Barrymore movies cat.  Out of the first 8 answers, each team had scored 2, but the final two had been picked up by the Pack  at that point I don't think anyone was sure who had won, but it was us 31-30!!!  Talk about a close game.

Well played Packers!!!  Had a great time.  You got some great new players.
