Ok...this is gonna be short, sweet and to the point, just like tonight's
game...well, except for the sweet part.
The Raiders just couldn't keep the ship afloat with all those Rocks on
board. We went down in two short, five-round games. After the false hope
of a three point Raiders lead in the first round, the Rocks maintained the
lead throughout, for a 33 - 20 victory in the first game and a 31 - 11
victory in the second.
I think we need to toss a few of those Rocks overboard next time, Raiders.

Rockers had good turnout tonight and sent the Raiders down to Davy
Jones Locker. Raiders lead the first round 6-3, after the British
terroritories category. Rockers took the lead after the Valentine category
15-12. (Aint love grand). Next up was Famous Bridges and the Rocks led
21-15. Rocks hit it big in the Keifer Sutherland category and too a 28-17
lead. The final category took us on a fantasy ride to Disneyland
Attractions and the Rockers took game one, 33-20.
In game two the Rockers went around, between, under and over on the
Preposition category and started the game with a 7-3 lead. A double point
Andie MacDowell category took the ROCK to a 19-7 lead. The seas
(sea-blue-eyes and seagirl) were rough in the Air Force bases category,
Sketch was barely able to swueeze one out that round and the Rockers took
a 25-9 lead. The Ramones came out and most of us were left stunned, so we
just listened to Hope do her thing and sing us through it. Rocks led 28-9
at the end of round 4. The final round we had a 70's flashbacks as the
Brady Bunch category came up and took the Rockers to a 31-11 win.
The Raiders played a good game and are always fun to play.
GO TEAM ROCKER!!!!

(commentary) The Six-Pack were ambushed by a determined Fourplay
team. neither game was close, although we took a 7-3 lead aftr the first
cat of the second game. I pleaded with the monitor the end the game there
and start the third game up but she refused(sigh). We were promptly
destroyed by a double point Mexican States cat which Fourplay got 7 of 10
answers to basically put the game away. Good game Fourplay. Good effort to
the Packers who showed up.

It was just another night with them Slobberin' Ratties, farting contest
and all, which of course Tex won. Must be all the cous cous.
The first game, we started off with a 6-2 lead on Bears, but the Rats woke
up in the ensuing Eastwood films and doublepoint-bopped us down to a 14-10
deficit. The following round, Cary Grant films, the Rats took off to
20, while we were stuck with a dozen. JRR Tolkkein (sp^) had the
Rats packin' their baggins and heading for the win at 27-13. They
won on B cities 34-15.
In the second game, they slobbered to a 6-1 lead on Rainforest animals,
since the taste of the Lizards still lingered in their mouths and I'm sure
they haven't brushed their teeth all season..hehehe! After one
syllable bands, Keifer Sutherland movies and Children's Songs we were in a
real rut 8-26 and the Rats finished us off on one of the newer cats,
Computer Analog Components. Or something like that. The score
was 31-8.
Since ev- started the epidemic of changing team names every round or so,
of course me, Mr. "Not to be Outdone" did a little of the same
and it became a battle of wits as well. But she pretty much kicked
my ass in that department too. LOL Great game RATS. Is
it safe to breathe yet?

It was another win for the Wonders tonight! We had the lead from the
1st cat and never let the Lizards take it away in either game!
We started off with Latin Words Used in the English Language and a score
of 6 - 3. The next cat, Camera Manufacturers boosted our lead to 13
- 5. Bays kept us ahead 17 - 11. The Lizards almost caught up
with Rap Artists by scoring 5 points and bringing the score to 19 - 16.
But the Bloody Wonders know their British Sitcoms and almost swept the
cat, scoring 9 points while the Lizards scored 1. We won the game
with Chinese Astrology and a score of 31 - 23.
At the start of game two Athena changed our team name to Wiggling Wonders
Enterprise, only she was on the wrong team, so for one round the Lizards
played as Wonders! Since most players didn't notice what was
going on there was alot of confusion at the end of the round when it
appeared that the Wonders took all the points!!
Game Two started off with back to back movie cats, Burt Reynolds Movies
and John Travolta movies. At the end of round two we were ahead 10 -
6. Flowers was the next cat and it narrowed our lead to 2 points.
Seahawk scored almost all of the Lizards 6 points in that round making us
wonder if Seahawk is always in trouble or very romantic. Balless
Sports was next and we increased our lead to 21 - 14. The next few
rounds Gwenyth Paltrow Movies, Mariah Carey Songs and Flowers with Bulbs
were low scoring rounds with the Wonders scoring 3 points in total and the
Lizards scoring none. (Libra scored the only point in the Gwenyth
Paltrow cat). James Bond Movies was the final cat and we were happy
to take the game with a final score of 30 -17 .
WiGgLe It SeXy WoNdErS!!!
Great game Lizards!!!
