(commentary) I knew it was going to be a good day for the Raiders
when I saw our captian at the helm. The Raiders played like they
were late for lunch. The first game was technically over
after we took 8 answers in the things in a backyard cat which was a double
point round. After two rounds the score was 23-3.
We traded with the packers the rest of the way winning 34-10.
Though the sixpackers were outnumbered, they played hard and kept game two
close for a while. We opened up a lead on the Jeff Goldblum
cat, widened it on the things at a childs birthday party going up
21-10. The final three cats pretty much stunk misspelled
words(ack!), modern anniversary gifts and straights. Kudos to
VirGinPet for showing she's still got it despite not playing much lately.
Honorable mention went to stars, seagirl, murf and rick.

The Wonders gave the Rocks a fight for game 1, it started with medicines
beginning with Z and a couple of the Rockers were still catching their
ZZZZ's (this reporter included). I think we managed the lead in that one,
but Wonders tied it up next round with their knowledge of Warner Bros.
Cartoon characters. They broke the tie with Girls "D" names, and
tried to run away with the lead, but the Rockers were starting to wake up
by the time double point Disney songs came about, and we reduced the
Wonders lead to one point. Oh bother! Winnie The Pooh put the Wonders up
by a couple more, but we recovered from Shel's distracting comments about
hineypails and took over the lead with the Desert cat (remember when
everyone used to type apple pie and pudding?) Anyway...We've already
learned that Rockers pay thier bills, so I guess it was no surprise to
find they know what comes in the mail. That one gave us the 31-25 victory.
Game 2 was looking a little better for the Rockers. By this time Madbison1
had become Madbison11 (poor guy was getting booted faster than he could
say "lala"), Six had joined us and we were on a roll. The new
"wrestling orders" cat earned a brief moment of silence before
the answers started flowing...the pause came from everyone scrambling to
ask their kids for answers. Nite scored the big one point that cat
produced for both sides. By the time we got out of the bathroom, we had a
15-8 lead (that's things in a bathroom, by the way). Double point Sheryl
Crow left a few of us thinking All I Wanna Do is kill bot, but we managed
to score a couple anyway. State nicks and types of peppers had the Wonders
sporting their rally caps, but the greek tragedies cat locked in the win
for the Rockers.
AHHHHHHWWWOOOOOOO Saturday Morning Rocks!
WTG Wonders, you played a great game!
Congrats to my co-mvr's Hope and Y (and thanks for the vote, team)

The game started off with FOURplay taking a
18-2 lead in the first round
which was arcade games. We had alot of laughs with the few LOLers

Maybe we should consider changes our team name to "Slaughterhouse
team five"! Boy, was the Rat adrenaline and slobber flying today!
The Rats now have a steady hold on first place...and we're holding on
tight! Game one had the Rats coming out of the gate with 8 out of 10
answers in the Al Pacino films cat! God, how I love that man!
The second category of game 1 was James Earl Jones movies, in which we got
9 out of 10 answers.
This sort of laid the foundation for the rest of the games for us Rats.
Our teams were equally matched, but we Rats must have had our wheaties
this morning, washed down with alot of slobber, of course! Game 2
was no kinder to the Lizards, with the Rats sweeping cats like kinds of
snakes (who da thunk the lizards wouldn't kill us on this one?). We
followed that cat with kinds of human bones, and answered 8 out of 10 on
this cat. I must say, we happened upon a new category today that in
my opinon takes the cake for one of the lamest cats ever! it was
kinds of animal sounds! Wow, where those answers a hoot! In
any case, the Rats wound up game 2 with a big win on Bridge terms.
Thanks for a fun and challenging game Lizards. You are an awesome
team!

(commentary) The Six-Pack went up against a determined bunch of
Raiders who plundered us in 2 games. I figured that the Raiders spend
their leave time in back yards because they swept us in a double point
"found in back yard" cat taking 8 of 10 answers in pulling away
in the first game. We gave the a better battle the second game but were
beaten back by an overwhelming number of Raiders. Good game Raiders
(reporter) Yapp
Ack!!! I showed up late, as in 20 minutes late for this one for a
reason that's way too stupid to divulge here..LOL
When I arrived, we were in the second game and behind 12-3. No one
seemed to know what the score of the first game was, so I just put the
first answer that came out, though Szygzy said it wasn't quite THAT bad,
and I'm sure it wasn't...hehe I did hear however, that Fourplay had
taken an 18-2 lead on a double point cat, which is probably why this
entire game went by in close to a half hour!
As for what little bit I saw of the second game, the cats were just as bad
as ever. Masters of the Universe and Elvis movies (maybe one day
we'll see Songs by Harrison Ford? LOL) came and went, bringing 4play's
lead to 26-11, and they finally won, 33-14, and I'm not even sure that
score is accurate either. It's way too early! Oh well, we had fun
anyway.

(commentary) Wow, what a good game playing the Rocks this morning.
We did a fine job considering we only had 5 players, and we were actually
ahead for some of the game, this captain is still WONDERing how that
happened??? Oh well, anywa, I am greatful for thena knowing so much
about cartoons....she was awesome on that cat. And us wonders also
knew our pooh, winnie that is. Great game this morning
Rocks....congrats on your win and until next time....see ya !
