(teams) Raiders vs Rocks
(Game1) rockers 37-21
(Game2) rockers 31-13
(MVP) all raiders
(comments) Five Raiders were not enogh for the mighty rockers.
I knew it was a bad omen when the top us golf courses went by just before
the start of the game. The first game was tied at 5 a piece after
showing our knowledge of blue colors from then on in it was all rockers.
The second game wasnt even as close as the lopsided score would indicate.
We had a slim 4-3 lead but the rockers beat us like a drum 31-13.
Good sportmanship was displayed by both teams. With more of me
mateys hopefully we can make it interesting next time.

(Commentary) Rough night for the Liz^ards and a great job done
by Fourplay. We took the lead and held it until the 5th round,
"Fleetwood Mac songs", when Fourplay zoomed ahead. They
went on to win the first game, 21-32. The second game began with our
taking the lead again, but we lost it by the 3rd round, when Fourplay
scored 8 points in the "things in a haunted house" cat.
They scored 7 more in the final round, "Foods with nuts" to take
the win, 15-31.

Rockers were out and ready to play as we went up against the Raiders this
evening. The Raiders were outnumbered but put up a good fight. It's always
a pleasure to play the Raiders.
Go Team Rocker!

OUCH!!! Another team well on their way to the playoffs, the Rats,
really pounded us into the ground this time. There were 11 of us and
something like 9 Rats from Bot's point of view it was more like 11
against 5, but they came out with more than we did through the whole first
game, however that happened! The cats. Yeah, that was it.
In the second game, we did a better job of keeping up, trailing 8-12 after
the German and Australian composers. Then a cat came up that I don't
recall seeing before, common Allergies. Rats had already filled the
room with methane and gave us a real allergy problem of our own, while
they scooped up 8 more points to make it 20-10. Afterward, we had
Ramones songs, in which each team scored a point. Following was a
more general knowledge cat for a change, things in a Salad, and no
surprise we had a good round there, bringing it to 23-17. Things
having to do with First Aid sure wasn't going to save us Rats took
back control and had us pinned in a 19-28 deficit. Then a Champ
Round came along, only dragging out this inevitable defeat! Finally
in the end, Rats took their knowledge of Computers, which I reckon they
probably learned from their neighbor, Donatello the Teenage Mutant Ninja
Turtle, and finished the game with a slobbery win, 32-21.
Well played Rats!!! Keep up that slobbering and fartin' and you'll
do just fine.

Wowsers! This had to be the longest game in Bot history!!
We play 3 games and playtime lasted over 1 1/2 hours.
All three games were close and both teams gave it there all.
The first cat, Al Pacino Movies, resulted in a tie score of 3 -3.
The SeXy WoNdErS increased their lead to 8 - 4 by showing off their
knowledge of Pig Things. The Galaxy Books cat had us all stumped and
then 6Pack made a run for the lead with Things at the Beach. We held
on to our lead by one point and then slowly but surely kept racking up a
few points per cat until we took the game. Cats included: Baby
Shower Gifts, Anne McCaffery Books, Halloween, Ends in TIC and Flags with
2 colors.
We started off strong in game two with Tom Hanks movies and a score of
6 - 3. 6Pack tied it up 8 - 8 with Famous Doctors. We resumed
the lead scoring 8 points between Fruity Songs and Bird Groups.
6Pack tied us again 17 -17 with Virginia Cities. 6Pack took the lead
with Gum Brands, and increased their lead to 29 - 23 with Big Valley and
then they took the game with the final cat Famous Drummers. (Note:
neither team scored on the Canterbury Tales cat and I make a motion that
the cat be removed from play!!)
We took a nice lead of 8 - 2 in game 3 with Animal Cars and increased it
to 14 - 4 with things found in a beauty salon. We struggled to maintain
our lead by scoring only 1 or 2 points per round in cats like: Fresh
Water Fish, Army Ranks, things found in a 1st aid kit, Jimmy Stewart
Movies & Religious People. We finally managed to make a
noticible difference in our lead to 26 - 18 with literary detectives.
But we scored only 2 points with Irish Cities. FINALLY, after what
seemed like the longest game ever, we took game 3 with Chinese Astrology!
