1	(Game1) raiders 36-17 (Game2) raiders 30-27 (MVP) judyindisguise and tbearj (Roll_Call) judyindisguise, stars24, seagirl, virginpet, peglegmurf, rickman9, jloughman, tbearj, juiliett, lilac (Commentary) --------------- The raiders face an outnumbered sixpack team. the first game went fast as the raiders demonstrated their knowledge of rolling stones songs winning 36-17. the sixpackers kept it close all the way thru the second game but the raiders apparently like mcdonalds food as they went ahead on that cat. the sixpackers came back in the duran duran cat but the raiders pulled out the game 30-27. honorable mention to seagirl. --------------- (reporter) rickman9

Great games for a Saturday!! The Liz^ards came out slithering and the Rats came out Slobbering and met head on!! The first game the Rats took the lead and never let go, winning 33-16. The second game began with a tie. In the third round, Songe and I swept the cat, International Parks, to give us the lead, 21-11. In the 6th round, the Rats swept the Arthur C. Clarke novels cat and brought the score closer at 28-24. We Liz^ards took 3 points in the final cat, Indians, to win 31-27. The final game was close all the way, and the Rats took the win at 33-28. 3	(teams) Rocks vs. Wonders (Game1) (Rocks) (Game2) 31-3 (Rocks) (MVP) Sketch, with honorable mention to Camaro_Z28 (Roll_Call) camaro, hiway, hope, madbison, nite, sketch, summ, wolf, ysatis (Commentary) --------------- The Wonders slept in this morning, giving the Rocks an opportunity to take the lead and run with it. We rocked from bathrooms to broadway, to a sweep of animated Disney films which gave us game one...Rocks like their Saturday morning cartoons anyway we can get 'em. I think all the nudes in the michelangelo cat inspired our mvr, sketch to lead us to our game 2 victory. The Rockers welcomed our newest teamie, cam, who gets honorable mention for his efforts this morning. Way to Rock, cam! Welcome to the team! 4	(gameday) Saturday 9-18-99 (teams) FourPlay vs LOLers (Game1) 34-12 FourPlay (Game2) 33-22 FourPlay (MVP) pandorasboxx, DeGenerated, k39301, msm123ana (Roll_Call) --------------- Attendance : pandorasboxx, msm123ana, degenerated, k39301 --------------- (Commentary) --------------- Well since only four of us showed we figured we would have a little trouble... But it turned out the LOLers were worse off then we were with only 2 of their teammates showing up. In the first game pandorasboxx was stealing the show early on giving Team Fourplay a commanding lead in which we never relinquished... Winning the game 34-12. The second game was nip and tuck the whole way... Fourplay took an early lead on the first category, but LOLers soon tied it back up at 7.... we would then tie again at 14..... Fourplay pulled ahead by 2 points late in the game... 22-20.... The next category was a double pointer... Fourplay pulled off 6 answers for 12 points... Degenerated scoring 3, msm123ana taking 2, and pandorasboxx taking 1... thus giving team Fourplay the victory... 33-22. A Well played game with only a total of 6 people that showed up... LOLers gave us a fight Great Game to LOL... and Great Win to Team Fourplay... 5	(gameday) Saturday, 9/18 12noon (teams) The Rat Pack vs. The Lizards (Game1) 33-17 (rats) (Game2) 31-27 (lizards) (Game3) 31-27 (rats) (MVP) Lauren (Roll_Call) Lexine26, Debby31, butterbby, Sinsear, Jimon, Lauren. (Commentary) --------------- Equally matched in number and strength, this was a tough win for the Rats to PULL out! The Lizards appear to be stronger than ever this season. It took all of our energy throughout 3 games to slobber the win today. The first game ran neck and neck until Lexine decided she had had enough stress and almost swept the disney films category! Game 2 was equally as difficult, with the Lizards staying ahead by a hair. The Rats kicked lizard tail with NHL goalies, but the Lizards wrapped up this game with a big turn out on words that start with Q.U.and a sweep round on national parks cat. The third game was kinder to us, coming out of the gate with the doctor's category...and man oh man...were we operating! I, for one, was more than pleased to see such old and familiar cats as Arthur C. Clarke novels, two syllable cities, and Rolling Stones albums...which probably lended to my ending up the mvp for today. The Rats in unity worked hard today and earned this victory. 6	(teams) raiders vs six-pack (Game1) raiders 35-17 (Game2) raiders 30-27 (MVP) entire team (Roll_Call) present were auntbrassy, lunachick, csquaredaz, teach, and yapp (Commentary) The new and improved Six-pack tried its best but could not overcome this group of Raiders. the Raiders jumped out on us 8-1 and never looked back. The second game was nip and tuck all the way until the end. it was a great effort by fantastic new teammates and I hope it will be the beginning of bigger and better things for the Pack. 7	(Game1) 4play 34-12 (Game2) 4play 33-22 (MVP) Just the two of us :o) (Roll_Call) flamepillar, SapphirEM (Commentary) --------------- Good thing Sapph got off of babysitting in time...or I might have played this one alone! LOL! Game 1 started off, Fourplay jumped into the lead 6 to 2 and never let go. A lot of weird cats kept popping up, such as things associated with Louisiana. Well, they finished it out 34 to 12. Pandorasboxx00 scored around 18 to 20 of their points! Wonder if that would impress Shania much? LOL The second game was more interesting. It started with the same 6 to 2 lead by Fourplay, but once we started getting the more "general knowledge" type cats such as famous people with the initials MM, things in a beauty salon, and things you get in the mail, Sapph & I were able to tie it up and hold it all the way to 18-18!!! Finally they broke the tie on "characters from Arthurian legend"..and went on to take the win in a double point round, 3-letter K words. Final score was 33-22 4play all the way. That about wraps up the preseason. It's been an unusually dark week for us! I hope we can pull ourselves together and start this season off right! --------------- (reporter) flamepillar
