Both games were won in only 5 rounds!! The first game we zoomed ahead in the first round, "writing utensils" and we never looked back, winning by a land-slide, 33-13. The second game the Wonders took the lead in the first round, "fly words". The scored was tied at 9-9 after the second round "Bewitched characters". We took the lead the next round, "Rolling Stones" songs. The next round was double points, with each team getting 5 answers. The last round "Skiing things", we got 8 answers to win 31-23. 5	(teams) RATS vs ROCKERS (Game1) 33-22 Rockers (Game2) 31-22 Rockers (MVP) Sinsear (Present) Miss-Giggles, Corwin1, Wattle, Texmania, Butterbby, Buffylou, Sinsear, Debby31 and Neider-Meyer for the last 1/2 of game 2 (Commentary) --------------- Well as usual the Rockers were ready to kick some Rat Butt, and their team had a good showing. There were 12 Rocks to 8 Rats for the majority of the games. It seemed there were alot of music, movie and play cats tonight. The Rats had their Fav Cat "McDonalds" and the Rocks still beat us there. But 3 of our Rats must have been traveling lately, cause they almost swept the first Cat in Game #2 "South Pacific Islands", putting the Rats in a 7-1 lead !! The Raiders seem to have picked up some gusto over the last month, as they sent us off the plank in a 3-game showdown on the date 9999!! Don't worry, we were wearing Y2K-compatible life preservers. The Raiders took us by surprise, sweeping us away 33-13 in the first game. It was enough to wake us up, though, because about halfway through the second game vrooom led us on a clean up in a Double Point round, Roman Emperors!!! We went on to win that one, 30-20. The final game was close, but we just couldn't keep up with the Raiders...and they showed us straight to the plank. We obviously haven't been to enough funerals..LOL since the Raiders' lead increased by 4 points in the funerals round, leading it to 26-19 they went on to win the game 30-21. Glad to see so much great competition going on this time!!! Just a few days ago, I was sure I knew who was going to wind up making the playoffs. The wiggling Wonders had no chance with cats like Writing Utensils, Baseball Teams, Sewing Supplies, Golf Terms and Robin Williams Films. Common Bot - give us some REAL cats next time! We didn't do as bad on game two. Libra scored 3 points of our 5 for the firt cat Begins with Fly. The 2nd cat - Bewitched Cats ended in a tie score of 9 - 9. Things were close through the Rolling Stones Songs and 3 letter words beginning with L cats. The lizards took the game by scoring 8 points in the final cat - Things assoc. with skiing.
