We stayed ahead for the entire game, until the last round. With the scored tied at 27-27, the "Seas and Oceans" cat came up...Fourplay got 5 of the points, and we got 4, giving Fourplay the win at 32-31. The Raiders game out very strong and lead most of the first game. Rocks gained momentum and a few players and took game one, 32-29. Game two was also very close as the Raiders continued to pillage the countryside. Nevertheless, the Rocks sent them back to the seas winning the second game 30-21. What can I say? The Rats have always been one of the toughest teams in the league. Well, I got news for you..they've gotten even bigger, badder, and sloppier than before!!! Ev found the best spot from which to send those answers..straight from the corner!!! I've never seen ANYONE play the way she did tonight. The Rats were tearin' it up and burnin' it down in the first game. SapphirEM summoned me to the room as we were starting the first round, and I came just in time to slip in the goo and fall flat on my face, only to look up and see that they had taken an early lead of 8-1. They kept up their fast and furious pace, and carried it to a 30-6 win! The second game was a real doozy Bot blessed us with an easy cat, things in a Laundromat and what does he do? He walks right out of the room halfway through!!! Took almost a minute before everything finally settled down. After Bot came back and we started the (second) First Round, the Rats took a small lead, 5 to 4. We LOLers stuck to our guns (and our swords) and managed to hold it to 15-19. But that was the closest we ever came to pulling ahead, for just then Bot announced a double point round and the category was none other than Vincent D'Onofrio (sp^) movies. The Rats (especially evinthecorner) made a great showing in this round, slobbering their way to a 29-17 lead, and finally winning 35 to 21. Congratulations Rats...well played! | 8 | (teams) Wonder's VS Six Packs (Game1) Wonders 35-9 (Game2) Wonders 34-20 (Game3) n/a (MVP) The WHOLE WONDERS TEAM (Present) TAZ, LENE, ANGEL-WOLFE, LIBRA, SHELBEL1, ATHENA, CHEYENNE, SADIE, CANDYMAN AND IFEELFORYOU (Commentary) --- The Wonders had a great turnout and outnumbered the SixPac's tonight. The Wonder's took off to an early lead in the first three rounds with zodiac signs, currency and Sigourney Weaver films to take a 20 to 6 lead. The Wonder's swept the last round, Knights of the Round Table, to a victory of 35 to 9 in the first game. Everyone was a wiggling. Athena, Libra, Shel, Chey and Sadie all played an awesome game. The Wonder's began the second game with another sweep in the Hannaka category to take a 10-0 lead. CHEY was up to her streaking again and got TAZ a little excited, like that's nothing new. The Wonder's kept it up with insects to take a 17-2 lead. The Traffic signs gave us a little scare because it was a double point round and the score was 28-18. We finally saw a victory with Supermarket isles (It was a Supermarket Sweep for the Wonders) 34-20. The whole Wonders team played great and all deserve MVP. --- (reporter) ifeelforyou |
