Introduction
This section provides access to pictures posted during the last year.
Technical
After buying my new computer with Windows 2000, my HP3200C scanner no longer worked. The drivers provided by HP on their website didn't work out. So I replaced it with an HP2200c. I scan at 75 DPI, 10% compression, and create thumbnails at 4% of the original area. Additionally I use the Sharpen Pictures option which makes a HUGE difference.
Let me know if you require a higher resolution version of a picture.
I'm satisfied with the new scanner. Mechanically I think it's a little cheap. But the price was low; only $110. It has 1200 DPI resolution, 42 bit colour, and USB which is nice and fast.
