These are my parents -- Jerry & Jolene.
Although we may not always see
eye-2-eye I love them very much.
Had it not been for these two
I would know the ways of the Lord.
Growing up they always taught us
values and the way of the Bible.
My parents were never afraid to
speak the Word of God and talk about Jesus.
It was not always easy trying to do
what was right. I often times
got labeled as a "perfect angel." But it wasn't that at all.
I always had respect for my parents so when they
told me things were bad to do, they
were bad to do and I just chose not to
do it.
I have no doubt that when the Lord
comes back (or) my parents pass away
that they will be greeted by Jesus Himself.
Thank you mom and dad for instilling the
Christian values into my mind. I only pray that I am
able to do the same with my own children.
