When we would be playing with the neighbor kids, he would be the first one to try and get some kind of game going. One of my favorite games that we played together (Outdoors and inside) was hide-n-seek. Inside, we'd follow him to our basement where we would turn the lights out and try to find each other in the dark. Outdoors, he would take us up to the neighbors' big yard and we'd play hide-n-seek with flashlights.
One of Kevin's many favorite sports is hunting. When he reached the age of learning how to hunt, he turned to our Uncle Ralph who taught him a lot about the sport. Kevin has caught quite a few deer since his first day of hunting and he is not yet finished doing so. Living out in Wyoming, whenever he gets a break from his work, you will find him out in the woods of Wyoming, Montana, Colorado...anywhere that he can hunt, he does so with pride.
Whether Kevin will admit this or not, he was a great drummer once. I don't know why he quit playing them. He could really play those drums and I had always thought he should have formed his own band; but after while, he let the drums fizzle away and eventually ended up selling his set. Kev, if you read this and ever get a chance, buy another drum set and begin playing again in your spare time. It's never too late to go for any of your dreams (whatever the dreams may be).
