My brother, Jerry, was always a thoughtful kid growing up.
He was sensitive and caring yet there were times
where we would really get into some really nasty
battles with each other.
Still Jerry had a kind, caring heart and was willing to do anything just to
be accepted by those around him.
Jerry loved to sing growing up.
He had a great talent for it too.
Anytime that our father was sitting at the piano,
Jerry would be right beside him trying to sing
and harmonize with him. My dad has cassette tapes around
the house somewhere of Jerry when he was pretending to sing.
Jerry even wrote a song once. I do not remember
how the song goes but I think he titled it "My Love Song To You.
I was always hoping he would submit the song to a publisher
because I thought it was a pretty great song;
but Jerry never did. He *did* record himself singing it
so maybe there is still hope that one day
he'll locate the tape with the song on it
and send it to a publisher
just to see if it would actually go somewhere.
WHAT IS HE DOING TODAY
Jerry was married to Theresa Russell on May 22, 2004.
He is working at a local hotel and seems to enjoy his job.
But what's even more cool is, he has just received
his Pastor's license for ministry. Although I am unsure as to what
he will do with it, maybe it will encourage him
to take his singing and place it with his ministry; sort of
like become his own evangelist that travels around
preaching the word of God to those who really need to hear
the Word.
