DRAWING STARTUP

See Section 8.0 Accompanying Diskette for ACAD.DWG or ACAD.DWT. The ACAD.DWG will replace your ACAD.DWG (for R12 & R13), and ACAD.DWT (for R14 and later) will be your template file and will be set up with the correct system variables and layers, etc.

UNITS CONTROL

SECTION 1.1.1

UNITS

Drawings shall be constructed using "DECIMAL" units with precision set to the fourth decimal place unless otherwise directed.

SECTION 1.1.2

ANGLES

Angles shall be measured in "DEGREES/MINUTES/SECONDS" unless otherwise directed.

SETTINGS

DIMASO -ON

BLIPMODE -OFF

VISRETAIN -ON

PSLTSCALE -OFF

SECTION 1.1.4

DIRECTION CONTROL

Angles shall be measured counter-clockwise with "ANGLE ZERO" in the East direction.

SECTION 1.1.5

METRIC UNITS

Metric units may be required on certain projects. This will be determined by the Project Manager.
