By Suzaku-sama, I was almost to tears by the time I finished reading this fic... One word: absolutely wonderful. So that's two words, but it deserves so much praise. I won't give a summary, 'cause it'll give it away; I'll just say that this fic gives such a sweet vision of Tasuki.
The fated love of amethyst and emerald turns cold just like summer to winter, but crimson wings are capable of bringing healing and protection to the broken hearted in the form of ruby-colored desire. The desire to defend and shield the one who is most important to them.
This is the kind of songfics which caused me to convert to Tasuki-Miaka in the first place (i.e., very sweet, and Taka/Tamahome isn't made to act all evil). This is the best rendition of Tasuki that I have ever seen in any fic (better than mine in any case). All I shall say is that this is highly, highly recommended and to just implore you to read it. I refuse to make up a summary in fear that it will not do this fic justice.
