Lady Miaka, the Priestess of Suzaku entered a new world through the book "The Universe of the Four Gods". She single-handedly gathered the Seven Stars of Suzaku: Chichiri, Tasuki, Tamahome, Nuriko, Hotohori, Chriko, and Mitsukake. Although, when she tried to summon Suzaku, she had failed, for the interference of the Seiryuu Shichiseishi. Meanwhile, Lady Yui, the Lady Miaka's one-time best friend was also transported into the book. Now, because of the Lady Miaka's failure to come to her rescue when she needed help (and also because of Yui's love for Tamahome), Yui became the Priestess of Seiryuu- the enemy of Suzaku.....

"YAMETE!!!" shouted Miaka as she ran away from Tamahome. "Get away from me!"
Tamahome caught Miaka and held her in a vise-like grip. "Will you listen to reason Miaka?"
Miaka glared darkly at him as tears streamed down her flushed face. "Nothing you say can make me change my mind or my heart. Let me go!!!"
"What did I do to make you treat me like this? I love you more than anything and you just..."
Miaka's face was filled with disbelief as she broke from his grip. "Don't even pretend Tamahome. I can taste the acrid falseness in what you just said. You can't tell me that you have been truly faithful to me."
Tamahome was speechless.
"After all I have endured, after all I have believed... you lied to me! Oyasumi nasai, Tamahome-san."
Tamahome turned white as Miaka ran off. He was reluctant to tell her about what happened in Kutou when he was held hostage....about his involuntary affair with the Priestess of Seiryuu.
Hotohori, Nuriko, and Tasuki all caught a glimpse of Miaka sprinting away from Tamahome. They all realized what happened and sent Tasuki to find out and try to comfort Miaka.
Tasuki found Miaka crying profusely in one of the gardens of Konan Palace. He went up to her to find out if he could do anything. DAMMIT!! What did that f%*$#*& Obake-chan do to her now? He knows that if he made her cry again, he will be on my shit-list. Fuck, so much water is coming out of her that if she continues at this rate... (shudder) I hate women!!!
"Miaka? Oi, Miaka...", called Tasuki.
Miaka stopped crying for a moment to look at who has disturbed her. "Tasuki?! Gomen, but can you leave me alone for now? Onegai..."
Tasuki went up to her and put a hand gently under her chin. He forced her to look up at him as he stared down at how much damage was caused. "What happened, Miaka?"
Miaka looked away. "Nothing happened..."
Tasuki forced her to look into his eyes again. "I don't believe that. No, if somethin' didn't happen, ya wouldn't be cryin' so damn much. Now, who is the fuckin' ass bastard who did this to ye?"
"No one did..." cried Miaka, and to her utter shock, Tasuki just held her tightly in his arms.
"Ya know? Ya need to learn how to lie better." joked Tasuki.
To that, a dawn of a smile came brightly upon Miaka's face. "And you Tasuki, you need to learn how to talk properly."
At that, Miaka pulled out of his arms and wiped her eyes. Tasuki suddenly felt a strange feeling come from deep inside his heart. It made him so angry at Tamahome for making Miaka cry that it scared him. The feeling only increased when Miaka tried her best to smile at him.
"Uhm, thanks Tasuki. Thank you for cheering me up. Don't worry, I'll be all right now.", smiled Miaka as she gave him another hug.
As she left to go back to her room, Tasuki's eyes didn't leave her as he sighed deeply.
"You're welcome, Miaka."..... Miaka.....

................ Tamahome, doshite??..................
Miaka couldn't help but think of how much it hurt to find out that Tamahome has been unfaithful to her. After all she had been through, after all she had given up and suffered because of him, remaining faithful even with the pressures of having others desiring her love. But she was forced to decline, ....she even had her best friend turned against her because of him.
"Why didn't I just fall in love with someone else other than Tamahome, anyone, even Tasuki would have been....." she whispered. However, that thought caused her to stop dead on her tracks.
Tasuki??? .....Where did that come from?!
Miaka was so confused that she didn't even stop by the kitchen on the way to her room like she normally does. Shimatta!! Nuriko is waiting for me at the kitchen, but I'm not very hungry right now... I should just rest... or study...
Finally, she reached her room and was about to begin with her text-books again, when she heard a faint scraping noise behind her.
She turned around to see who it was. "Dare de...!!!"
Miaka didn't even get the chance to finish her sentence, that a sudden pain at the back of her head cast her deep into unconsciousness. She wasn't even able to cry out or scream before she was out cold. After that, she knew nothing as she and her assailant disappeared from sight without a trace...

The girl was puzzled. "Gomen, demo... the only things that I can put even the tiniest shred of familiarity to are Suzaku, Seiryuu, Genbu, and Byakko, who are the gods of the south, east, north, and west. However for everything else, my memory is drawing a complete and total blank..."

So minna, how's that for a start? Yes, I know it's awful... ;_;. Although, I did try my best despite all the essays, homework, and all other vices of everyday chores I had to overcome. I just got a comment from one of my friends... yes, I am a pessimist... (a hyper pessimist).
