It's back online! Tribute Gallery: another soldier joins the legion Hot Pink Nailpolish: one of the best monuments to New Wave i've seen Remember the 80s: "remember Alf? he's back! in pog form."- Milhouse. Cartoon Alliance: now called 8ca.net, this is a serious site for our 80s toons. Besides listing all but a few of them, divided in years with descriptions and links, there are also themesongs for the shows and a couple interviews and they look to be expanding with links for streaming animation from shows like He-Man, Transformers, ect! Music Central: some bios and a mailing list to keep you updated on the 80s music acts who've reunited. A big project with a devoted and motivated brother in arms The Original 80s Show: first i should warn you that the archived shows they have availible are likely to only work for PC users. It's funny it says you need either Real Audio or RealAudio G2 and G2 is what we have- so why wont THESE work? PLEASE email me or something if you have webtv and can hear them because maybe i need to call the WebTV Network and have them send a patch *shrug*. Also they have quiz games but i wasnt able to play them either. I have no idea when they broadcast but it appears to be a very involved program. Roxette.org: news, links to 305+ Roxette sites and much much more. Hmm, seems to me if MTV was run by human beings we would have seen this band in America for a lot, lot longer. Three hundred and five site for crying out loud! Katie's Cartoons Page: Katie has hundreds of episodes of 50 plus shows on videotape which she will send you for $9 for six hours of recording! Just ask and she will provide. its a freakin service to humanity for crying out loud. All the good stuff is here- GI Joe, Transformers, He-Man, She-Ra, Rainbow Brite, ect. ect. cat313's Best of the 80s Film Page: the layout is great and the prospects are enormous. She even has midis. recently revamped, lookin' good Color The Eighties: What a great idea!. Basically, this girl has taken coloring books and placed them up so you can print them out and color pages. Some links dont work, but there are complete carebear, popple, Lady Lovelocks, the Moondreamers and My Little Pony books to print and color :-). Gary's Room: a lot, lot of midis here. Techno and 80s rock Great 80s Lyrics: great selection of lyrics Ilana's "V" Celebrity Site: Check this out. Talk about making a niche for yourself! Okay where to start? How about new "V" t-shirts, a section for "V" stars she has met, STICKERS, links (they are tons of V sites, thank God....that almost sounds dirty lol!), memorabilia you can buy, info for the ShadowCon where lots of resistance fighters and visitors meet, some funny captions (what a great addition for this sort of website- remember those cool kiddie zines from the 80s that had tons of funny captions? yeah i didnt read them but i still remember), and a NEWSLETTER. Pictures and stuff too of course. she is seriously expanding- site is deep! Madonna's Early Years: prepare yourself poor sinner! HehhehHEH! Pictures from when Madonna started out in the band "Emmy" (before her solo career), ultra-rare memorabilia (not for sale but who could afford it if it were), super rare songs with lyrics and the recordings i think. Now listen- there is a MAGAZINE gallery. The link is like on the very bottom of the first page. In this gallery you will find lots of super-sexy pictures of Madonna, from european and American magazines. This girl was on the cover of Penthouse no less than 15 times! How do i know? Because there are thumbnails. Man im telling you (and i hate to be rude to any ladies and gentlement) she is naked, real naked. Full color except for one (im such a perv). Add to that the cover of Playboy SEVEN times! Im not kidding when i say that she is just STRIKING- im talking about the fashion mag covers as well. There are lots of album pictures too. This site is too wicked to be believed. And im not talking about the PG-13 rated stuff exclusively by anymeans- really thats neat and all, im not that simple minded, but all this early ultra-rare year stuff kills me, and the naked bit just makes all that much more...special or something. Ill take my ridalin soon. Madonna is really awesome Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle: The Multimedia Homepage: this is the oldest and by far coolest TMNT page in existance. He has interviews with the old cartoonists, homemade 3-D pictures, News, History of the franchise since it's conception as a 1984 B&W independent NY comic, a section for the comics themselves, Real Video mpegs!, and pics and info on the Japanese anime series! I didnt know about the anime series. Now updated and back online as a .com! I'm really starving for Elio's TMNT square pizzas. Ever have them? They were the best pizza i ever had! Atari 2600 Gamepics: this from the Video Game Museum- they have pics for about every system ever made and it seems a great deal of the games for the consoles as there are no less then twothousand pics- one pic to a game. 8) The Dutch Vixen Page: hairband that was actually composed of real girls! As seen mentioned in Jeff's World. I dont need to hear them play to know their good. Valley Girl Movie Page: this is unequivically rad summery of the movie, pictures and facts about the movie (included mentions of in-movie contradictions like Trekkers and any fan of a cult movie will notice. The Simpsons is famous for it), and scans of the movie box and a picture of a billboard for Valley Girl when it was released. This is better than what i will do with my favorite movies if i ever get my Plus to take snaps of video! Pink Plastic.Net: really really cool page with pictures and detailed biographies of lots of dolls. (i know ido seem to have an exorbinant amount of girl sites but hey its just a coincidence. Really! 9-\) Quacker County!!: i sort of debated with myself whether or not i should list this one but it's so funny. Its like Blair's anti-prep page but it's about My Little Pony. The web"mistress" is a rapid MLP collector but she does seem to have issues. In any case its possibly the funniest website i've ever be too- everything cracks me up. Very dark humour so beware if you are offended by the warping of a classic phenomena from the 80s! She's actually pretty damned talented. Also a nurse. Hmph Save Ferris!: a website brought to you by 80s.com. It has tons of pictures from the movie (over a hundred), a mountain of sound clips and posters and other merchandise for sale. Certainly worth a look and the penultimate on-line source for the movie. (which is great if you like this kind of baseball & tupe kind of humor, but frankly not one of my favorites) SUPER-DUPER TOY ARCHIVE: a really narly site with pictures of toys and related material for Masters of the Universe, Transformers, Star Wars, ThunderCats, Battle Beasts, Rock Lords, Go Bots, Diaclone, Dungeons & Dragons, TMNT, SUper Powers, She-Ra, MegaBug Gladiators, Indian Jones, Care Bears, Battlestar Galactica, Cabage Patch Kids, Police Academy, Battle Brawlers, Zoids, Backhole, Macross/Robotech, G.I.Joe, Filmation's Ghostbusters, Trash Bag Bunch (!?), Monster in my Pocket, Dinosaucers, DinoRiders, Megaforce, and miscellanious items and movie props. Whew. This man went to a whole lot of damn trouble but im really glad he did! The He-Man & She-Ra Archive: not exactly an archive yet but by the looks of it is definetly promising! The pictures that are up are some really good ones though. They are holding some sort of He-Man email RPG so if your interested they still need more people to play the characters! Bill & Ted's Excellent Online Adventure: a great resource for Bill and Ted fans. Lots of pictures and a weird but well written (some might say lol) Halloween story with B&T at Universal Studios. There are also cover shots for comics that Evan Dorkin- a hilarious and gifted cartoonist, made for the series. Dorkin is the greatest. 80s Hairbands: woah! 9-12 song rams (webtv compatible!) for AC/DC, Bon-Jovi, Def Leppard, Dio, Dokken, Guns 'N Roses, Motley Cre, Ozzy, Poisen, QueensRyche, Ratt, Saxon, Scorpions, Slaughter, Stryper, Tesla, Warrant, White Lion and Whitesnake. Be warned that the drop down menu is buggy so use the front page (with the cool scrolling background) to select a band if it doesnt work.
