Jeff's Rant on Eighties Revisionism: somethings we need to hear, even if we don't like or fully understand it. lol, trust me if you care about ANYTHING to do with the 80s you ought to read this- it tells it like it is but it's NOT anti-eighties! Not at all- it's just time to put bands like Psychodelic Furs in perspective, thats all. [] 80's Cartoon Central: huge list of toons, some with special information section and links. Updating a lot- worth a visit if you need some friendly memories! [] New Wave XG: Midi files (really great ones) for such bands as ABC, Adam & the Ants, Flock of Seaguls, A-ha, Alphaville, Bahaus, Blancmange, Kraftwerk, The Cars, and about 35+ more! Great Flash movie intros, and it's a bit slow but worth it. Now to hear the midis you first click on the song you want and then you click on the speaker in upper left hand corner of the screen. What i heard was smashing, especially Kraftwerk- what a cool group! Real progenitors those lads, hehheh. There is chat (prolly java), news updates and a forum. It's made in France= beautiful graphics. Go look! [] Retro Underground: 6 pages loaded with rams for DuranDuran to Kim Carnes to Kenny Loggins. Just remember- rams have a tendency to shut off webtvs ;-)) [] Spandex Snakes & Hairspray: NOT Webtv compatible, but if you have a PC and their server isn't down you can listen to Motley Crew, White Zombie, Quiet Riot, ect, live! Internet radio is a cool thing, no doubt. [] The John Hughes Files: complete list of his films (he wrote National Lampoon's Vacation, Flubber and Home Alone 3!?), sound files, trivia, trailers, jukebox, biography, articles, ect. Let me tell you- it is VERY rare to see a site this snazzy made by a fan. She has all the movies on DVD and the quality of the vid-caps prove it. The layout is orderly and clean & there is every imaginable kind of multi-media for the movie present. [] Electric Lunar Freddy Land: he makes a great Nightmare on Elmstreet page too! Lots of cool pictures from each of the movies. Slow in loading however. [] Nightmare on Elm Street Pt.2 Script [] Nightmare on Elm Street Pt.3 Script [] Fantasia: i love The Neverending Story, it was simply my favorite movie from when i was little. this site has some cool self-made imagery and good summations. [] Atreyu's World: a very awesome Neverending Story site! slow loading and sluggish for webtv users (frames)- but the content makes up for it! the image gallery has blow-by-blow vidcaps of many scenes, there are lots of poster and character photos. [] The NeverEnding Story Online: lots of wicked and satisfying behind the scenes information. A+. [] RaggedTiger's Index: find rare 80s singles- where to buy them, how much you should and shouldn't pay, and compare different lengths of singles in relation to CDs, record, and radio versions and how the reviewer feels about each version. Also the animation at the upper left is reason enough to visit. [] Retro Craze Sweeps Executive Branch: Holy Melmack it's the Onion! [] Sheree's 80s Music Page: fellow Xchanger! Get yer wallpapering here 8-) [] Jim's Commodore Amige Homepage: if you don't know about the Amiga, or do you really ought to click on this link! Check out the magazine ads and rare television ads (which you can run in full if you have a PC) shown only on MTV for this super innovative computer. Hey it has eighties girls- frolicking! Read the shocking, heartbreaking story of IBM and Apple's mole who destroyed what would have been a new, brilliant era in electronics. Amiga games are still being produced (some of them look awesome and are way ahead of what IBM and Mac had), altogether the operating systems must be put together by hand, although it should interest those who like to customize.
