At Sarah's funeral we handed out a memory book that was created by 2 friends.  They asked friends and family members to write down their favorite memory of Sarah and attach a copy of their favorite photo.  On this page are the entries and any photos that were attached.

Sarah touched many people in many ways, this book is a great reminder of how much she was loved by all who knew her.

Dear Sarah, O' my dear Sarah where do I begin, there are so many things that made you very precious in my heart.  Sarah, you were such a suprise to your mother and I.  When I heard the words you're going to have a daughter, I was so happy I couldn't sit still.  Sarah you filled my heart with such joy only a father could know or understand.  My heart is now broken and I will miss you very, very much, but I know that you are in the safe arms of Jesus, and there will come a day soon when you will be in my arms again and we will both be in heaven together singing songs to the Lord and our joy shall be complete.  Sarah, I will list just a few things that I will miss and I will keep those memories close to my heart, words can't say how much I love you.

I will miss the mornings that I woke with you.
I will miss our time of prayer together before I tucked you in for bed.
I will miss you standing at the door waiting for me to come home to give me a hug and kiss.
I will miss all your cute little words and your voice.
I will miss your beautiful blue eyes.
I will miss the way you loved me with all your heart, mind and soul.
The list goes on, but there is not enough paper in the world to describe how much your daddy loves you and will miss you.

Sarah, I love you,
Daddy

My dearest Sarah,
There are no words to express the sorrow and grief that I feel.  I miss you more than words can say.  I have so many joyful memories of our short time together.  I can't think of just one.  The way you used to walk, talk and play are in my thoughts everyday.  I know you are in good hands with Jesus and He will take good care of you.  I know He will give me the strength to go on.  I will never forget our time together.  I miss you so much.  I can't wait to be with you again.

I love you,
Mommy

Sarah "My Heart"
I can not write the joys and happiness we shared, because they are written in my heart that I will carry all the days of my life.  Thank you dear God for letting your angel brighten our paths and for the love and happiness she gave the world.  I know that you will hold her gently in the palm of your hand and let her look down on us with her special light from heaven, that will warm our souls.

Love,
Papa

My cherished moments with Sarah,
Anytime shared with Sarah was special, her bath time was fun.  She loved the sweet smell of bath powder and fragrance of perfume.  When we had her in the evening hours, this was my special time with her.  Our Sarah is so loving.  Once we were watching one of her videos and Papa fell asleep.  She got up, walked over and gave him a kiss and said  "Love you Papa."  when he woke from his nap I told him about his kiss from Sarah.  He said,  "That's Sarah."  Those moments will be cherished all our life time.

Love,
Nana

Sarah,
I'm sorry I didn't get to spend more time with you.  The times I was with you I loved you and I could tell you loved me too.  I'll miss you and the time we won't have to get to know each other.  But it was God's choice and I know He's taking good care of you.

Love,
Grandma Holland
