So many people have blessed us in so many ways since Sarah died that it would be impossible to list them all here. There are some people that I wanted to thank and share my feelings with and let them know how much of a blessing they have been to me. I am sure I have forgotten to add one or more of you and ask that you please understand that it does not mean I don't appreciate all you have done, it just means my brain and heart are on overload and things tend to slip out sometimes.. ha ha.. GOD BLESS YOU ALL!!! We couldn't have made it without you!!

First of all, I want to thank God. Without Him carrying me through this and giving me the strength to go on, I would not have made it this far. I thank Him for the many blessings He gave me in preparing Sarah's funeral. I thank Him for taking care of the smallest details, so that I may look back with some beautiful memories, even in a tragic time.

I can't thank you enough for always being there for me. For in your own grief, you have strived to understand mine and be compassionate to it. For letting me do the funeral and all the way I wanted. There is so much to thank you for that I can't list it all here. I was blessed that God gave you such strength to speak at her funeral, you did a beautiful job and glorified her memory. Although we seem to grieve so differently, I thank you for letting me grieve in my way, without judging me or telling me I was/am wrong. There are no words to describe how much and how deeply I love you. You are my best friend, my lover, my confidant, my shoulder to lean and cry on, YOU ARE THE WIND BENEATH MY WINGS!! I LOVE YOU, I THANK YOU AND GOD BLESS YOU!!!!!!!

I thank you all for sacrifically accepting to carry Sarah to her final resting place. We chose you all because of our great love and respect for you in our lives and in Sarah's life. I can't thank you enough for putting any feelings you might of had aside and carrying out our request, I am forever grateful to you all. I LOVE YOU AND GOD BLESS YOU ALWAYS!!

Some of this may sound so redundant, but it is not felt that way in my heart. I thank you for always being there to talk to me when I need it. For just listening and understanding. Like I can begin to thank you enough for all you have done and do for me, but I will just scratch the surface here. Thank you for always being there to listen and try to understand. For not being afraid to talk about Sarah and my feelings. For never judging me on what I say, do or think, no matter how bad it may be. As I write this the words seem so inadequate to try and explain how I feel. There just aren't enough words to thank you for everything. So just know that you are more than just my sister, that is the easy part, you are my confidant, my sounding wall, my reality check, my shoulder to cry on and you are my best friend..I LOVE YOU AND GOD BLESS YOU. I know you will be happy to know that now I have tears, so I am sure you are bawling your eyes out at my mush. ha ha

I thank you both so much for being there with us in the first minutes and hours after Sarah died. God's perfect timing brought you at just the right moment. I thank you David for your spiritual strength during the time that mine was in shock. I remember how comforted I was to come back into the room to see Sarah and you had your bible open and were reading scripture, and Pop was standing next to you. Elvia, I thank you so much for all your support that night. I can't thank you enough for the collage and memory book you made for the funeral. The collage is beautiful, (if there was a way to put it on here, I would have), and I will never forget you bringing me ice and pepsi, such a trivial thing in such a tragic time, but it truly blessed my heart! I thank you both for driving to Pastors house to get him. I thank you for all the things, big and small, they all touched my heart deeply, and I will never forget it. I LOVE YOU GUYS!!

Although I don't really know you, I have to thank you for your generousity in getting my sis and niece here after Sarah died. It was a great blessing to me to have them here and I am thankful that God used you to make that happen and that you were faithful to His leading. You started out as my sisters best friend (and still are), but you have become a best friend to me also. You are always there to support, encourage and just listen. I thank you for being there for my sis, when I couldn't. You gave her the strenght to support me, by supporting and listening to her and letting her cry on your shoulder. I thank you for having such a big heart that you can carry hers, as she carries mine. I LOVE YOU AND GOD BLESS YOU!!

Mike, I thank you so much for coming to our house that morning as soon as you found out to pray with us, I will never forget it! You blessed my heart very deeply. I thank you for always being there to talk to if I ever need it. You and your family have blessed me more than I can express here in words. Kathy, there are not enough words to describe how much you bless me, then and now. You always seem to know what I am thinking or how I am feeling and are not afraid to express it or bring it up. I know I can always talk to you and tell you my heart and you will not judge, you always have an open and compassionate ear, I love you and thank you for that. I could go on forever about how much you have touched my heart, but you know I don't do this mushy stuff too much and I am almost overdosing right now.. haha.. I thank you both for so unselfishly being there for us and taken care of Gus. It was such a blessing to not have to worry about him during so many difficult times that you have been there for him and us. I thank you for always remembering Sarah and not being afraid to share that with me. I will never forget when you told me that on her birthday you used the cups from her 2nd birthday party to drink out of for dinner as a rememberance of her. My heart was deeply blessed by this and the fact that you weren't afraid to share it with me. I LOVE YOU BOTH AND GOD BLESS YOU!!

Wow!! Where do I begin? I thank you both so much for coming to be with us that tragic night, for all your help and encouragement with the funeral plans. Lucy, thank you for the wonderful idea of the memory book, it is such a wonderful memorial to Sarah. Pastor, thank you for all the counsel you have given us and encouragement to carry on. I can't thank you enough or list all the ways you have blessed my heart through that most difficult time. There will always be a special place for you both in my heart and in my prayers. I thank you all that I have met and will meet in the future for your encouragement and real understanding.
