I was born in May 1981.

I designed the sukhoi several years ago now. Since then, a fair bit of stuff has happened in my quest to figure out what I want to do in life.
At one stage I was studying psychology and sociology at university, but this year (in 2004) I have begun a 2 year diploma in Mechanical Engineering. After completing the 2 year diploma, and if I have good enough grades, I'll be able to transfer to a Bachelor of Engineering Technology and do an extra year of study. I've only just started the diploma, but so far I think that I've made a good decision, as the work seems to suit me very well.

I'm studying at Auckland University of Technology, which is in the city here, and I used the free motorcycle parking as an excuse to get my motorcycle license and ride in to uni :). In NZ you are restricted to a 250cc bike while you are on your learner and restricted licenses (we have a graduated licencing system), so I'm currently riding a Yamaha FZX 250. I find riding a lot of fun, and I'm also enjoying the challenge of learning to maintain and fix my bike myself.

I've still got most of my planes, some are hanging from the ceiling in my younger brother's room, and some (including the sukhoi) are stored in the loft, waiting for the day when I can start flying again.
