Rat Roadhouse

Love Bites

BIO
Name: Josephine
Date of Adoption: October 17, 2004
Variety: Hairless
Sex: Female

Once again I found myself standing at a pet store staring in at rats. I should know better, but it seems my heart always wins out. In this particular store, they have a cage of hairless.

Inside there was a girl who had one small and one badly infected wounds. I tried to talk to the employees about cleaning them and it fell on deaf ears. My husband knew better and we walked out with her.

She wasn't very happy about me cleaning them out. She wasn't even happy about being held. She has some serious trust issues. As soon as her 'sister' Celeste's litter was born her own stomach became huge. Here we go again.

Josephine is slowly learning about trust. She is slowly learning that I am here to help her, not hurt her. Her children will never be afraid of people. They will be loved.

I expect babies from her anytime now. They will need forever homes.
