Thoughts and Statements: Nails If pet rat is so small, and nails are so much smaller, how come they can leave welts? You can trim rat's claws. . . but if you have ever attempted this you may find that 1-they are really small, 2-rats are really wild when it comes to someone trying to restrain them 3-nails grow back faster than it takes to clip them 4-rats can run very quickly up your body when faced with shiny metal clipping object. The claw marks on my neck, breasts, stomach simply are not from my spouse, but rather my rat. Cage Cleaning The longer you spend trying to arrange bedding nicely the quicker the rat will have to work to get it just so. Never leave your dust buster unattended when arranging bedding. Your rats will leave you an extra pile no matter how high the bedding tray is. Quick Wit Boy rats are always ready to go for a ride. . .they come complete with saddlebags. Babies are hard to photograph. Pets are harder. Rats are dang near impossible. Children and rats mix like chocolate and milk. Rats are like brownies. . . super sweet, with a lot of nuts. . . Pet Store Rats What is the best way to get a whole litter of rats? Decide you want to have only one rat, and go buy a female. Wait two weeks and you will have more than you dreamt of. How do so many pet stores make a profit? They keep the male rats with the female rats knowing customers will care for a surprise litter and give them back. If you have 20 female rats in a cage with one male rat, what do you get? 20 pregnant females and one exhausted male. Toothpaste Rats love the smell of toothpaste. Street Rats What do gang rats live? The hoods. Fine dining Do you know why you would never find a rat at a fine resturant? They are all after the KFC and finishing up at the all you can eat pasta bar. |
