| Stephanie Branch is originally from Nashville, Tennessee. Her parents, Frank and Holly had a boy child they named Frank Jr. Wanting a large family, but after six years it looked like they would not able to conceive again, the family adopted a girl named Jennifer. Four years later Stephanie was born to the delight of the parents. Unfortunantly, there were complications and Holly was no longer able to have kids. Stephanie went on to graduate with a bachelor's degree from Middle Tennessee State University and joined the Murfreesboro Police Department. Small, but surprisingly strong with keen deductive reasoning, things she attributes to her Cherokee ancestry, Stephanie knows that she can make it in the male-dominated world of the Police. And due to these attributes. Having already completed her two year minimum required time in uniform Steph is well on her way toward her Masters Degree and is expected to make Detective in record time. |

| On patrol near Campus one evening, the weekend before Fall classes started, Stephanie responded to a shots-fired call at M.T.S.U. The first on the scene, Stephanie was approaching the parking lot when someone ran into the side of her car. . .or rather something! As Stephanie got out, she realized that the person standing in front of her was some sort of creature - with clawed arms almost reaching the ground and what appeared to be a ripped up, human-suit. Recovering quickly, Stephanie ordered the thing to stop, but it tried to run off into some trees. But not before Stephanie was able to shoot it. Needing to see what it was, Stephanie approached the spot where it fell, but only found a latex body suit and a pile of goo. At this point, three students approached and Stephanie realized that they had information on this turn of events. When her back-up arrived, she managed to convince her Sergeant that everything was okay, then took the three college students away to talk. What she found out amazed her. There exists, in tandem with what most people see, a different world - a darker world, where monsters, demons and all matter of strange creatures dwell. Almost immedietly she found herself mixed up with a crazy government agent, his junior agent and a superscientist! Trying to combine her job, school, and now, patroling - not to mention helping her newly made friends fight the good fight hasn't been easy. Especially when the good fight involves giant bugs, weird Native American mysticism and now Vampires! When a friend goes missing and Stephanie is attacked by a Vampire within a few days of each other, Stephanie meets with the rest of the group and offers the use of her garage as a training area. A possible romantic interest has arisen in Stephanie's already hectic life. Nick Devry, an L.A Detective on loan to Murfressboro has shown some interest in teaching Steph more about Detective work - But that usually doesn't involve lunch dates, does it? Recently, while working unofficially on a case with Devry, Stephanie found and was able to rescue her missing friend, and learned of the continued existance of the Government agent known as Cobb. Now one of the gang, Leroy reveals that he's some sort of Cyborg, and there's definitely more to this Astrid woman. Josh seems a little obsessed, but other than that normal enough. Over the last few months Steph has been inundated with the strange and supernatural. She has discovered that Astrid is half Demon (of the good variety), Josh is a werewolf, and she herself is something called a Totem Warrior - over the last while she has become stronger, faster, tougher and her sense of smell is accute enough to track the bad guys with. Another Totem Warrior - an old giant of a Cherokee named Jim has been teaching her all about Totems and Magic. And has introduced her to the evils of Wendigos and other demonic types. |
