Breanna Carwell is the oldest of three children, born to Dr. and Mrs. Carwell of Bell Meade, Tennessee. Doctor Carwell wanted his daughter to attend Vanderbilt University (his Alma Mater), however Breanna pushed for Middle Tennessee State University, majoring in Computer Science, with a minor in Journalism (she also wanted to write for M.T.S.Us paper - Sidelines). Being a bit of a Daddys girl, she got her way. Her mother has been trying to get her to join her old Sorority - Alpha Omicron Pi. Breanna has so far managed to avoid this fate - something she sees as a fate worse than death. Growing up in Middle Tennessee, Breanna had heard many ghost stories and other folklore. Approaching adulthood, she started investigating |

| these stories - first as a lark, but the more she uncovered, the more convinced she became that there was something to them. Her investigations lead her to an on-line organization of Occult Investigators called The Technopagan Alliance - a small group scattered across the U.S. and Europe dedicated to helping ...fight the forces of Evil! Utilizing her position as a staff writer for the Sidelines, Breanna started slipping in information about the Paranormal in her articles. While generally taken as works of fiction, they have been well received (in fact, she has won two awards for her Halloween stories - one of these stories lead to the Technopagan Alliance contacting her. A while ago she met Josh, a new member of the Technopagan Alliance from Savannah Georgia, on-line and started a correspondence with him. Over the summer she convinced him to come to Murfreesboro. Her research, along with several other members of the Alliance has suggested that something big is about to happen in Middle Tennessee. She met up with Josh the Friday before classes started, but that night some very odd happenings kept them from having a talk about what the signs seem to foretell. For the last year, Breanna has been working with her Advisor, Professor Nathan Wingate, helping him to build a leg harness for helping the disabled. Over the summer, they, along with another assistant, Leroy Lanks, finished the project. However, the potential buyers turned out to be Government agents. Breanna was secretly sent by Prof. Wingate to his home to erase any information on the Leg Harness. While she was away doing this, the agents attacked the Professor and Leroy was shot in the chest. She was quite surprised to see Leroy the next week at school. When questioned, he was unable to remember what had happened. Shortly after his disappearance, Breanna was contacted by Prof. Wingate and asked to keep tabs on Leroy. Prof. Wingate had saved Leroy's life by implanting his brain and nervous system into a robotic body. The cybernetic body was never thoroughly tested and he wanted to make sure nothing goes wrong. Although he has not told her what he is currently working on, he has had her do some running for him, bringing him technical supplies - and groceries, something Breanna has made sure he receives wether he remembers or not. Over the next couple of month's, Breanna covertly checked on Leroy's status. She had been able to run diognostics on him without his knowledge because his "on-board computer" erases those memories. After leaving an archeaological dig, Breanna didn't make it back to her dorm. Her parents grew concerned, but the police had little to go on and didn't concern themselves to deeply. There was no direct evidence of foul play and Breanna was only one of many missing people in Murfreesboro - until Professor Wingate was found dead in a wearhouse. Breanna's prints were found on the scene and she was listed as a suspect. Detective Devry, assigned to the case discovered that Officer Stephanie Branch - a detective trainee that he respected, and liked - knew Breanna. Checking with Stephanie, and then with some of his out-of-state contacts, Devry has started to suspect that something "next-level" is going on. Eventually, Breanna was rescued by Stephanie and the rest of the group. She was being held hostage as a leverage to force her father to do something for Agent Sebastian Cobb. Cobb was able to escape, but Breanna is safe - at least for the moment. Since those events Breanna seems to have lost a bit of her nerve. She is currently avoiding the rest of the Boro Heroes. |
