Pumps and Valves Do you have problems of corrosion and erosion?
Pump Parts - Plungers - Bowls - Casings - Impellers - Shaft sleeves - Bushes - Screws - Diffuser plates
Valve Parts - Butterfly disc valves - Plug valves
Chemical process pumps and valves handle variety of chemical fluids like * Acids * Alkalis * Effluents * Sewage * Milk of lime * Fluids contaminated by solids like - silt - bone ash - sand - fly ash Chemically formed ceramic coatings are the only all - ceramic coatings which can be applied to pump wet end parts. They can be coated on the inside of the pump casings and impellers to overcome corrosion, abrasion, etc. Several of our customers call these coatings "fit-and-forget" coatings. They find that they never have to attend to those pumps or valves again. Solid ceramic plungers fail under thermal shock. These can be cost effectively substituted by chemically formed ceramic coated stainless steel plungers. The coated plungers have excellent thermal shock resistance. They can be heated and quenched in cold water without risk of cracking. Chemically bonded ceramic coatings can be done on stainless steel, cast iron, aluminum, etc. The life increase is dramatic. Life increase in excess of 10 times compared to uncoated parts have been reported. You can even replace expensive brasses by cast iron or stainless steel ceramic coated - this saves cost and improves performance.
