Ah, FFVII. You were emphatically not my first FF love (that title goes to FFVIII, when I first heard of the series), but you are, perhaps, my greatest. Or, just the crackiest. Again, this will probably be heavy on the slash side. However, since there is one female character that I really like in this game (Aerith/Aeris), het and occassionally polyamory will come into play. Cloud has always been, and still remains, my favorite character with Zack and Vincent coming in to close seconds. Sephiroth, actually, remains one of my least favorite characters, though writers like Sleeps with Coyotes and IceDark-Elf have been slowly convincing me to like him (but only a little.)
I have to admit that I largely abandoned this fandom, and this page most likely would not exist if it hadn't been for FFVII: Advent Children hadn't reinvigorated it. To which we should all say, "Thank GOD" for because most of the other stuff was crap. Or about Sephiroth and *shudders*.

ikyrian's notes: What can I say about this 'verse, other than I kinda wish it was canon? This AU is chock full of BigMommaChocobo!Cloud moments; DelightfullyTeasingSexy!Aeris moments; BrilliantCrazy!Zack moments; and FiguringItOut!Sephiroth moments. In essence, it's got it all. The writing is solid, the characters are very well fleshed out, and there is a light at the end of the tunnel for those of us who desire happy endings. It's well worth every hour you spend her reading and re-reading this series.

ikyrian's notes: This story is SO HOT. And tasty. But that's at the end. I don't normally go for cross dressing fics, it's just not really my cup of tea. I like my men to be pretty manly (though poor Cloud gets feminized so often *sighs*). But this was done tastefully, and beyond being a plot point to get the two to the real prize (hot, delicious man-sex), I have to rec it. When you finish this one, go read Got Your Back which is also smoking hot and details the growth of Zack/Cloud/Sephiroth's friendship.
