I’ve always been intrigued
by the media’s impact on public opinion as well as the forces and influences that shape the media, which makes public relations a natural career choice for me.   I've been working in PR since 1989 and started focusing on tech in 1994, when the Web started hitting the mainstream.  It was a treat to be on-hand when several reporters saw the Web for the very first time.

Career highlights include launching  such  popular online sites as C/NET and Pandora, introducing Zonbu, the first environmentally-correct, hassle-free, open-source computer designed for consumers; running the Microsoft Games PR team at my  previous agency and publicizing the “Kasparov vs. the World” chess tournament for the Microsoft Gaming Zone; and getting U.S. business press coverage for then tiny enterprise search engine Autonomy, by emphasizing its technology’s roots in the writings for an 18th century Presbyterian minister.

Other clients I've worked with include Digeo/Moxi, Expedia, Flurry, Infoseek, InfoSpace, Mplayer, Microsoft (Games, MSN Gaming Zone, Sidewalk, PictureIt, etc.), Salesforce.com, Siebel (now Oracle), SlimDevices/Squeezebox, and Viacom.

I've worked at several of the large global agencies - Edelman Worldwide, Fleishman-Hillard and Hill and Knowlton - but at OnPR, I get to roll up my sleeves and apply the knowledge and skills I’ve gained over the years to make a real difference for clients. I get real pleasure out of helping companies build awareness and credibility, generate grassroots buzz, ignite customer evangelism, and attract the right partners and investors. Best of all, I get to work with a team of expert professionals who are as passionate about public relations as I am. How can you beat that?
