I joined OnPR in 2000, after I was asked to evaluate an acquisition offer that the agency had received at the time.  This was when we were known as “pr.com.” Since I had been doing mergers and acquisition work at a telecommunications company, it was a good fit for both me and the agency as this assignment drew from my finance, operational, M&A and wireless background.  We turned down that deal, but I had such a great time that I stayed on and became the company’s CFO and COO.  Amazingly, just a year later, another deal came along which was the right one!

Some of my career highlights includenegotiating the sales transaction between pr.com and Waggener Edstrom in 2000 and then negotiating the management buyout of OnPR in 2005.  Setting up our Germany subsidiary, OnPR, GmbH was a challenging and rewarding venture.  It has never been dull and we have worked with some really great clients along the way.

Some of the companies I’ve worked with include Cellular One, Telepage Northwest, AT&T Wireless, Cable Plus Management Company and Grant Thornton International.

It’s exciting to be at OnPR because we have a unique vantage point into some really amazing and cutting edge technologies and businesses.  We have represented a number of early stage companies and new technology companies and it is always energizing to work with these visionaries to help tell their stories.  The entrepreneurial spirit and energy from the entire process is inspiring.  And it keeps us on our toes!
