MEMBERSHIP
The membership of the Society is open to physicists, chemists and engineers with at least M.Sc. or B.Sc. (Engg) degrees who may be active in research or may have interest in the field. Research students at the M.Phil. and Ph.D. levels are also encouraged to join the Society at a concessional membership fee. The membership is also open to professionals from outside Pakistan. The present membership of the Society stands at over 300, including overseas members. In addition, the Society is proud to have 41 Honorary Members who are distinguished scientists from around the globe, including the famous Nobel Laureate Leo Esaki from Japan and Zh. I. Alferov from Russia. Their association with and moral support to the Society speaks for the international recognition and standing of the PS3T
