Our nation and its future is dependant upon the youth of our society.
Therefore, the children of the United States of America, defined as all persons under eighteen years of age, declare themselves full and equal members of humanity and essential to the preservation of our democracy.
To safeguard the rights of children we deem it necessary to list the specific rights of our youth that are essential to the continued growth of our nation.
