Article II: With Respect to Rights in The Home Environment 


-Children must be provided with guidance, love, proper nutrition, shelter, clothing, medical care, and a healthy environment. 

-If the legal family or guardians are unable to meet these needs, the government must provide assistance to assure the child's welfare. 

-In the case of divorce, children will be acknowledged as the disadvantaged party. 

-The child's best interest will be the catalyst for all judicial action.

-Children shall have the right to participate in determining the living arrangements in the event of a divorce whenever feasible. 

-Children shall have the right to foster respect for their parents' languages, values, and cultural identities.
