The TCG for the gameboy brings both the world of Pokémon and collecting
and battling with Pokémon cards. As you start you will enter Prof.
Mason's lab. Like the other Pokémon games (besides yellow) you will
chose between 3 Pokémon DECKS. After you chose a deck you will fight a
set up battle against Mason's lab assistant and after you win your off
on your Pokémon journey.
There are 8 gyms where you fight gym members and gym leaders. After you
win a fight against someone you will earn a Pokémon booster pack. If
you ever run low of energy cards you can always fight another assistant
in Mason's lab to get a booster for all energy cards.
Like all Pokémon games there are an elite 4. These guys/girls are
always the toughest people in the game. Once you beat them once you'll
get the legendary cards. (legendary birds) Once you win twice you'll
have access to the legendary deck builder. At Masons lab you will also
be able to access deck builders once you beat a gym leader.
The TCG is just like all others. You will fight the gym leaders and the
elite 4. You will also find a man just like Bill living on the coast
which you will be able to trade certain cards of this guy at some times.
You will also have a rival just like always.
Just like mystery gift with gold/silver you will be able to card pop
with friends ONCE. You will be able to get a promo venusaur or mew
if your lucky card popping.
