Problems Amazing creatures are living inside this zone. However, human activities such as over fishing, intensive tourism, excessive commercial use of the marine creatures, and careless development are changing these delicate ecosystems. The numbers of Sea turtles, conches, lobsters, crabs etc. are all decreasing. Coral such as Elkhorn coral (Acropora palmata) and Staghorn coral (Acropora cervicornis) which once had been seen in most surrounding coral reefs can be rarely seen now because of human activities as well as the impact of global warming.
Staghorn coral Hawksbill turtles Caribbean queen conch (Acropora cervicornis) (Eretmochelys imbricata) (Strombus gigas) Although it is difficult to know the changes inside the sea, it is a severe problems as all ecosystems are connected to each other. To solve these problems, each one of us should be aware of the reality and must (keep the modesty to relate with our) beautiful nature. We need your help. For example, DO NOT collect any creature inside the national park, DO NOT buy the lobsters which are smaller than 21cm, DO NOT buy the conches for souvenirs, DO NOT throw your garbage away in the natural environment, WARN people who are engaging in harmful activities in the National park. These small actions will surely help to keep the Park in a healthy condition for generations to come.
