| Penguin Territory: Shiver City: Shiver City is the main area of the Shiver Regions. Shiver City has a small shop, a large warehouse, the Penguin Leader's home, Herringway's home, and a Toad House where someone sometimes visits to leave presents. Ice Plains: The Ice Plains are the area between Shiver City and Starborn Valley. Icy Piranhas and Gulpits inhabit the area. Starborn Valley: The former home of the Star Kids, they have either ascended to Star Haven or left to help Luigi. Their Ninji caretakers have also left. While some penguins have moved in, the only original resident still living there is Merle, who is determined to protect the sacred place while the Star Kid Elite is away. Shiver Mountains: Shiver Mountains are next to the Ice Plains, through the Snowman Door. Merlar's cave is here, and at the top the Crystal Palace is located. Crystal Palace: Long ago, the Crystal Palace was a temple dedicated to the Stars. Over time, it's purpose was forgotten, and the Crystal King invaded, holding a star spirit there. After Mario defeated him, the palace was closed off to all except Archeologists. |

| Penguin Abilities: Penguins have always lived in the Shiver regions. They enjoys the cold. They are short, stubby birds who can't normally fly, unless they train hard in the skill. They are faster swimmers, and are good with magic. They start with Level 1 Swimming/Diving and Level 1 Cold Resistance. They begin with 6 Weapon Points and 8 Skill Points. Penguins start with 21 endurance points and don't lose any in cold; however, they lose 150% as much in heat without heat resistance, and lose some even with it. |

| Penguin PCs: Kuwadora the Insanity Penguin Age - 32 Sex - Male Dominant Hand - Ambidextrous Played by - David (DZY351378) Appearance - A penguin with skin color lighter than most, Kuwadora usually wears a large white coat which is often bigger than Kuwadora himself. He also wears a pair of crazy-looking glasses, though nobody knows why, because he certainly doesn't need glasses. In his oversized coat he always carries a journal and some writing utensils for any new ideas, and just about everything else is in the backpack. Bio - Kuwadora comes from a reclusive part of the Penguin territory, and he has always grown up that way. His parents, both great inventors, had tought Kuwadora the ways of an inventor, and fed his brain until it was bristling with knowledge. As he and his parents stayed reclusive and hermit-like, inventing great things that would improve their life but seldomly was presented to the rest of the penguin public. One day, however, their peace was broken, as some of the forces from the Council of Darkness attacked the reclusive home, killing the mother and mortally wounding the father, who with his last bit of life shoved Kuwadora into a chute of escape. Not knowing what happened that changed his life so, his mind became a little boggled. Not that he became completely insane, but partially. This was both a blessing and a curse, as this partial insanity had also increased his intelligence, allowing him to invent many things. However, he didn't have much to start off with other than the plans he made as a young boy, thus he saw the only way to live was to rejoin the penguin community. First looked on with hostility, he eventually gained their respect because of his deeds, and eventually became a respected inventor in the Shiver City. But, still now, he wonders why his parents was attacked, almost completely oblivious of the technology that his parents invented that could be used for harm, and was, by the CoD. He continues to try to find the answers alone, and his refusal of asking others about it is the reason of his oblivious nature to the attacks and the heroes who stopped them. Sure, he was happy, but he never made the connection between the 'evil' that the heroes defeated and the evil that destroyed his family. Even with this burden in mind, Kuwadora is a friendly penguin, albeit with some insanity. Then, one day, he thought to himself, "Damn, it's hot!" so he decided to return to Shiver City. He then worked as an apprentice under a master carpenter, until the crusty old dude died and bequethed to DP his magic tools. Unfortunately, the old penguin was pretty senile by then, so the "magic tools" were really just plain old tools. But they were nice tools, and they were shiny, so DP used them after all. Now that the resuming of the great war seems immenent, DP is ready to get his groove on with the rest of the Penguins. How will the flightless, chubby birds fare against the rest of the world? Will DP prove to be a valuable member of the team? Who knows? This is just a bio. This was until one day, when after a day of boarding he decided to visit his uncle. They always connected fairly well, since I.C's uncle was the baby of the family, and I.C.'s mother was the oldest, so the age difference was not much. His uncle's name was Horace, but no one ever called him that (for obvious reasons). I.C. knew him much better as Shock. I.C. came to Shock's house, but when he found him, he was stunned at what he found. Shock was laying on the ground, near-death. From somewhere, he heard a voice. "It is ironic, isn't it? A man who had dedicated his profession to restoring life in a flash, and his own is taken just as quickly. Almost a pity." Obviously, whoever did it thought they had finished the job. I.C. came over to Shock. Shock whispered as loud as he could. "The vault...32...11...5..." Shock had a little safe in his house where he kept all his war memorabilia. I.C. had never seen the inside. He opened it and found a lot of pictures, but more importantly, an old Life Shroom. He hoped Shock knew his job as good as he said. I.C. ran back to Shock. He was dead. I.C. hoped it wasn't too late. He held the Life Shroom to Shock, whose spores began to refresh the fallen penguin. A few seconds later, Shock opened his eyes. Soon after, Shock and I.C. had a talk which would change the young penguin's life. Shock: I feel that a war is coming again. I.C.: What does this have to do with me? Shock: I really enjoy my job. However, I don't to go through another war. I have a wife and a hatchling now, and I don't want them to lose me. I want you to take over my job. I.C.: Me? But- Shock: I'll teach you, don't worry. And just like me, you'll indirectly take 'em out. And so he may.
