| Armor. Such a wonderful thing. It works simply, too. Armor takes hits instead of you, so you save stamina when you fight. However, you also start off with less stamina, since the armor is usually heavy and ungainly. There are 5 pieces of armor to a suit, 1 for each area of the body protected. Each race has it's own suit of armor. There are three degrees of armor as well: Rusted, Decent, and Blessed. | ||||||||||

| The Penguins have Crystal Armor. Their rusted-level armor requires snow to make, decent requires ice, and blessed requires crystal from the Crystal Palace. The Boos have Ethereal Armor. Their rusted-level armor requires leather, decent requires fine leather, and their blessed requires ethereal energy from deep within the Boo Mansion. The Dryites have Pulse Stone Armor. Their rusted-level armor requires course sand, decent requires fine sand, and blessed requires pulse stone, hidden in the Dry Dry Ruins.. The Koopas have Shell Armor. Rusted-level needs koopa leaves, decent needs metal, and blessed requires roasted goomba nut mixed with gilded koopa leaves. The Bob-ombs use Paint Armor. Rusted-level requires metal (for lead paint), decent level requires berries, and blessed level requires starstone. The Yoshis use Saddle Armor. Rusted-level requires leather, decent - fine leather, blessed - cooled lava. |

Rusted takes 4 hits, decent takes 6, and blessed take 8. Gauntlets reduce max stamina by 4. Greaves: Greaves protect the legs. Rusted takes 3 hits, decent take 4, blessed takes 5. Shinguards reduce max stamina by 6. Armored Belts: Armored belts protect the hips. Rusted takes 3 hits, decent takes 5, and blessed takes 7. Armored Belts reduce max stamina by 5. |
