ComCrypt 4000 (modchip)

They all the same.
you can use one of them according to your Rev hardware (because in some comcrypt 4000 the delta is closely near the front panel so you can't insert the modchip into delta 5 socket)

EXT4 board is exactly the same as EXT1 but it uses a wirewraping socket to make the board shorter

The processor used in the modchip is AT89C52 ATMEL.



How to Install ModChip:

1. Remove cover with two self-tapping screws.

2. Unscrew four black self-tapping screws from back at scart connectors.

3. Remove four bolts from transformer and unclip main board front, left and right , Take care with front cover and push buttons

4. Unsolder Delta 5.4 chip and solder in a 40 pin socket .

5. Insert Delta 5.4 chip into EXT 4 board and plug into new socket.

6. Reassemble decoder.
