Cable Crypt 2

The patch is referred to the "Cable Crypt 2" type decoders. The model type is printed at the back of the box.

  • We remove the five black screws witch are at the back of the decoder and take off the metal cover.
  • We disconnect the display flat cable from the main board and remove the top cover of the device.
  • We remove the pcb by pushing outwards the plastic notches that hold it and turn it upside down.
  • We remove from pins 23, 32 and 33 of the 'Delta' chip the copper lines witch connect it to the rectangle chip. - Careful here not to scratch by accident any lines near them.
  • We connect pin 22 with pin 23 of 'Delta 5.4'.
  • We remove the jumper witch pin 18 is connected to. - It's the small part reading '000' and it's located right under it.
  • We connect pin 20 of the delta chip with the jumper witch is located right next to the one we just removed (don't care witch pin).
  • We connect pin 33 with pin 20 of the above chip.

We connect the decoder with the main power and turn on the television set without forgetting to connect the antenna also. Watch out the current !!!

The system will automatically start after 20 seconds. The image should be clear and stable but changing it's polarity from time to time. It is important for the signal to be strong. An outdoor antenna is recommended.

If it is all right and we don't mind the change of the polarity, we stop here and assemble everything. Else.

We read the document that refers to the polarity.
