Nickster quite a pickster with year's best recordThe Park View third grader affectionately known as Li'l Girl came through with a tremendous week in the Picks. Nicole (whose last name rhymes with page) got all of her upset specials correct as her 11-2 record tied QT for the best week of the year. Nickster's impressive picks included the Ravens over the red-hot Steelers, the Jets over the Ram-beating Saints, and the Redskins over favored Seattle. The Glenn Westlake eighth grader also known as Girlie racked up double-digit victories of her own. D.J.'s 10-3 record kept her tied for third place as her underdog Patriots pulled through in Atlanta. The Swartz second grader crazily known as Lolly Bird surged over the .500 mark for the season with a 7-6 week. Ali's prediction of a Buccaneers win in Green Bay nearly turned out to be the biggest pick of the year, but the Packers performed second-half magic. |
