Wow! D.J. achieves best record in Picks history!A sensational game-winning drive Sunday night by the underdog N.Y. Jets in the final minutes not only gave them a 29-28 victory in Indianapolis, it also gave D.J. an unprecedented 12-0 record for the week. That is the best mark in the 22-year history of the Sunday Football Picks! An 11-0 record has been achieved four times since 1980, but never before had someone gone unbeaten when there are 12 or more Sunday games. Incredible! D.J.'s big picks also included the underdog Jaguars in Minnesota, and the Bears pulling out a squeaker in Washington. She also relied on last-minute scores by the Falcons, Chiefs and Giants to rewrite the record book in dramatic fashion. Deejmeister gained an important game on second-place Mark, even though he had his best week of the year at 11-1. Rootie Tootie Flutie and Co. let up a late Chiefs touchdown for Mark's only loss. Mark and D.J. both moved closer to first-place QT (10-2), now trailing her by just four games and five games, respectively. Ali finished equal to or better than her previous week's record for the fourth straight week. She has now accomplished that streak twice this season. Despite a solid 8-4 week, Pa fell to 23 games out and is nearly mathematically eliminated. Many are surprised he's even that close. |
