Jeter's huge plays for Yankees upstage Picks

Two tremendous efforts by All-Star Derek Jeter not only lifted the Yankees to incredible wins in the American League playoffs, but his great plays stole the spotlight from the Picks in a week where everyone finished with a similar and boring record.

QT, D.J., Pa and Mark all tied for first by beating Blaine, Nicki and Ali by just a game, generating nothing like the excitement Jeter created with his team's streak of World Series titles in jeopardy.

With Oakland up two games to none, Jeter kept New York alive to win Game 3.  He hustled to snag an overthrown ball and made an off-balance flip home to nail the potential tying run.  In the deciding Game 5, he snared a fly ball while falling backwards into the seats and landing upside down.
