Pa's worst record of 2-9 is still safe, but barely

Pa stunned the Picks world during one week in 1990 when he proved it is possible to lose almost every game.  His miserable 2-9 mark has remained solid over the years as one of the few Picks records that Pa can call his own.

But that achievement of futility was nearly surpassed on Sunday by several people.  Pa, QT and Blaine were all 1-7 after the noon games, needing victories by underdogs in the late games to avoid rewriting history.

Those underdogs delivered, capping a pathetic week in which the favored teams had their worst showing ever.  The only victorious favorites out of 11 teams were the Rams and Titans.

The group's combined winning percentage of .377 (29-48) barely beat the all-time worst percentage of .369 (24-41) set in 1998.
